    Oral Thrush...

The MCHN said DS had a bit of thrush and to put him on Nilstat drops. Since I have put him on them, it has gotten worse, not better. Is there anything else I can give him? He is only 4 weeks old. Im bottlefeeding formula.

Rainforest- I have been using it since last Monday, so a week. Went to the chemist today, and he said if its not worrying DS then dont treat it. I wiped DS's mouth tonight with a cotton bud, and it came off, so I did his whole mouth. I went through a fair few cotton buds, but thats ok. Will see how his mouth is in the morning.

If you are not breastfeeding and the nilstat is making it worse I would not treat it. It will pass on it's own if it doesn't keep going back and forth and is not continually irritated.

I hope it clears up soon for him.
