Middle Name?

Hi Girls,

I am sold on the name Grace, as is DH, but we are not sure on a middle name for her? DH loves Amelia so I thought, Grace Amelia? Does it sound alright?

In your opinions - I work in the same unit as a girl who called her daughter Grace, do you think that matters if we name ours Grace aswell? Her Grace is 3, DH says it doesn't matter because it is only a work collegue but still, what do you think? We dont spend anytime with eachother outside of work and only really have contact during the shift and on facebook and friends through work. Would love to know what you think? And ofcourse help with a middle name.

I love the name Amelia - DF didn't though lol - as I wanted that name for DD originally. I (so far) have picked middle name for DD and bubs based on Grandparents first or middle names. I just think it makes it a bit special when the middle name has a meaning - but thats just me .

As for selecting the same name as a work mates child - I wouldn't, but there are no rules. I love the name Jett eg, but it's my brothers, boss' sons name (of which I have nothing to do with lol) - but I still couldn't pick the name.

If you're sold on the name of Grace - then go for it! It's about you and DH and what you both like!

I love both names Grace and Amelia so I think the name Grace Amelia is just beautiful!!!
I think with a name like Grace it doesn't matter at all that you work with someone that has a child with the same name. Had the name been something unusual maybe even that they had made up it would have been a completely different story, in my opinion anyways.
Use it, its perfect!!

I think it's fine to call her Grace, I am not one who cares much though unless it's someone who I spend a lot of time with.

And I love Grace Amelia, as long as your last name isn't insainly long I think it will be fine
