Well i just got my breadmaker and i am in love...

    it is a breville,

a few loaves have worked others no lol

and it is funny because i do the same recipe but sometimes it is dense, sometimes rises too high and other perfect... mmm

did pizza dough the other night and it was divine...

so what do you cook in your breadmaker?

Pizza dough, Brioche dough, Fruit loaf, Pull aparts etc

You can also make Jams too so don't forget that (providing you have the jam setting.

I make pizza dough, wholemeal bread, pull aparts, and I make pretzel dough.... and dough for bread rolls etc... I love having a dough setting so the machine does the hard work and all I have to do is roll it out and play

Just bread and pizza dough so far here. Might try the jam setting when we have an overload of fruit. Always mean to do a pull apart, but never get around to it.

I just for the first time used the dough setting and baked the bread in my oven- texture wasn't quite as good as in the breadmaker, but I think that's because I didn't let it proof long enough. Or maybe I didn't do the second kneading long enough?

But I have a question- now my bread pan is all sticky with dough, and it looks like hell to clean. So far I've just put hot water in and hoped soaking would help. Any clues??

I have a cutting guide from breville I think it was about $40 maybe less.

With the pull apart, just use normal bread dough (with the dough setting), then roll it out flat, then put whatever fillings you like on the dough, roll it into a sausage then cut scrolls off, then what I do is pack the scrolls together (like little buns so it makes like a big round bun). You can do them anyway you like. You can even pack the little scrolls together into a loaf tin and bake it that way.

thanks Rouge ... sounds yummy... might give it a go next weekend~

    Ok TROUBLESHOOTING>.. help!

If you use packet mix (premade)... do you use the Volumes on the packet or from your machines booklet?

How do i get the mixer arm out from the bottom of the pan?
    - i have soaked, scraped and cant get it loose! it still turns fine but should be able to pull it out?

HOw do you store your bread after baking so it stays yummy and fresh?

If you dont have a guide (Like me) - any tips of cutting thinish pieces?

i do a medium sized loaf (750gm) and it never rises above the pan.. is this how yours is?[/COLOR]

    thanks lol~
