Question about the 4 ingredients books

In the 4 ingredients cook books, they often refer to "packet of french onion soup" as an ingredient .... what do they mean by this??

Near all the soups , there will be a homebrand packet that just says "french onion soup", thats what I use. Just the dry, powdery stuff....

Ditto to everyone Sometimes the books ask for chicken noodle soup as well, its the same type of powdery stuff. Tastes so good in so many different recipes!

Its usually around 49c....in a flat packet, rather than a cup a soup box....
