i'm still here barely.... Ok maybe i'm exaggerating a little bit lol
I'm so hoping today is the worse of it & tomorrow i start to feel better, i can not handle sore throats i really really hate them. At least the aches & the chills aren't as a bad today.
I have my parents here so that is why I have been awol. Just a quick note to let you know OB appointment went well. Put my edd back to 14th Feb (knew it would happen). Booked in to have the baby at Monash now instead of the Angliss. Um what else, seen the little tadpole on screen, was having a good kick! The ob is great, little disappointed he won't be delivering bub, but I guess that comes with being a public patient.
Ok, gotta go I am so tired and my eyes are stinging!
Kaz sorry got dates got pushed back, why did you end up changing hospitals?
Ended up going to the DR's last because i couldn't talk, eat, drink swallow i'm on anti b's now, but it's already hit my ears
Oh well at least i'm not sitting here with a temp of 38.9 shivering because i'm so cold like i was last night.
Thanks for all the get wells
I'm back. Can't stay on long as so much to do, catch up on etc.
But thanks for all your well wishes on the arrival of little Immi. It was a bit of a surprise coming early like we did. I'll type up our birth story and get it and some photos out soon.
But, just to say congratulations to Terri on the arrival of little Mia.
Welcome home Saffi! I hope you are recovering nicely and that L is loving his baby sister
Mo - More hugs . You poor thing, I hope Phil is taking good care of you.
Kaz - Glad your appointment went well. A Valentine's baby, how lovely!
Celtic - How are you going atm, I'm thinking of ya.
I'm going out for an early birthday lunch (my birthday isn't for another 2 weeks) with my sister and mum today. My sister wanted to plan it early in case bub arrives early, but I still think I'll be waiting a good 2-3 weeks for her arrival! I'm looking forward to some girly, kid-free time! I have been so spoilt this weekend, DH decided to get me an early birthday present and yesterday went out and bought me a new mobile phone (with camera so I can text you all pics of Miss B ) and the latest Navman!!! It has the biggest screen available and it soooo cool! I can't believe how much money he spent on me ! The Navman will get used by both of us though and we are planning a big caravanning trip to WA at the end of 2010 so it will come in very handy. I am feeling so special atm!
Bub is still kicking around in there. I get lots of BH's so hopefully they are doing some good prep work for labour. My bump is so small compared to the boys! It will be interesting to find out how much she weighs.
Welcome home Saffi, look forward to seeing some pics of your princess
Trish how sweet of your DH & i hope you enjoyed your early birthday lunch
I didn't think i could get any worse but i have, i have to start forcing myself to drink or i have to goto the hospital & get a drip put in. There is nothing more the hospital or doctors can do because i'm b/fing. So i'm just praying the Anti B's kick in very soon.
Mo i cant beleive how sick you sound it must be horrible. i hope you can get some sleep.
Trish- bub may give you a painful but best birthday present this year hey! hope u had a nice lunch.
i had my 30th night out last night and got rather drunk. felt pretty shady all day not sick just tired and blah. the kids have been at my parents since yest arvo and because i have to work in the morning they stayed over tonight also. the house is strangly quiet its very weird! but dh and i went to the movies this arvo. I seen the hang over whilst hung over lol!terri- congratulations on the arrival of baby Mia, hope your both well!!
The anti B's are start to kick in, i woke up this morning after 4hrs straight sleep (which was great because i haven't been able to sleep any longer than 1hr since i got sick) & i could swallow without closing my eyes, putting pressure on my ears & tensing my body up. It still hurts to swallow etc... but i can push through this pain.
On the downside Kodi has a case of the sniffles & a dry cough, praying she doesn't get what i had.
Thanks again for all the well wishes ladies xxx
Nic sounds like you had a really good 30th, been so long since i had a drink that i think i'd be drunk after 2 drinks lol
Mo - hope that you are feeling better soon. My ob won't be delivering bub so we are going to Monash (which was our first choice) now instead. Has anyone or do you girls know of anyone that has had their bubs at Monash?
Trish - sounds like you have been well and truely spoilt over the weekend, good on your family for taking such good care of you.
to everyone else. My fingers are 2 cold for a biggy tonight. But I promise to come back tomorrow and write more.
Mo get better hun...I am coming to hug you no matter what :P Trish you should feel special all the time your so wonderfulll! You wont need to send me pics cause i will be meeting her Nic sounds like a blast of a birthday!
Well better go shower myself and stop feeling sorry for myself xxx
Kaz i haven't had any babies there, but i have been there for other things & they were great.
My cousin had her DD there, she was high risk due to Anencephaly with her 1st pregnancy & said the nurses & Dr's were fantastic.
Kimbaz also had her 3 kids there.
The only thing you need to keep in mind about Monash is, that's it's the South East's biggest high risk hospital so it does get really busy there.
When i went into labour with Maddision my OB & nurses said it was a good thing i wasn't booked into Monash as they had no empty beds left in Maternity. All that aside it's a good hospital
Can i ask why you changed hospitals?
Amber get better soon hun, 11 days & counting. I'm hugging you no matter if your sick or not!
Sorry I didn't get back...I was so annoyed I lost my post! I can't remember what I even wrote now!
We went out for dinner last night and I was buggered when I got home so no more BB last night!.
Hope everyone is getting better (MO & Amber)
Trish So glad you had a fun early birthday present. You are obviously so special to so many people...not long till Lil Miss B is in your arms! So exciting!
Saffi Welcome home! HOpe you are enjoying your babymoon with little Imogen....you'll have to put some pics on FB when you get time.
Nic Happy 30th (My message WAS earlier than this!!!)...it's a good age to become!
AFM - Plodding along here...had a bit of an emotional breakdown the other day but I'm blaming hormones! All is OK now! Max is being so so so so gorgeous...such a good boy and especially great now he sleeps all night. It's good that I let him hoon around in his bike to tire him out...seems to be working!
Aww Jules Hope your ok!!!! Mo hahaha! We can spread the germs to eachother lol!
