Hmmmm, not sure about the carrot. Is it raw? Maybe steam it a bit...I think even at that age raw carrot can be a choking hazard, don't quote me on that though. ( I don't have a very good memory). The rest sounds great though.![]()
We have friends someing over in an hour and they have 21 month olds.
I have made a plate of cut up capscium, carrot, pita chips and I made a dip by dizzy-whizzing up a can of baked beans.
Is this ok for almost 2 year olds??
TIA![]()

Yep! My DS2 is 21 months old and would happily eat that![]()
yeah, whether they'll eat it is another thing![]()
Just wanted to let you know that it was actually a bit of a hit.
The kids (and parents!) liked the dip and my DH thought it was pretty good too. I liked that I was serving up something healthy in a fun way.
Thanks for replying though girls, I was worried about it at the last minute!!
Yayyyy!! I was waiting to hear how it went! (Yes, I need a life, LOL).
How did the little one go with the raw carrot?....for my future reference.
No dramas at all with the carrot! Everybody like the baked bean dip though and I am secretly proud that I thought of making a dip out of them!![]()
