    Smile Mummy instinct

I'm wondering if you'd consider this 'mummy instinct'?

My DS hasn't been sleeping well at night. He tends to wake up 3 times a night (usually every three hours). We used to be able to get a 5-6 hour stretch from him, but that hasn't been happening for a few weeks now. However, last night he went down to sleep, and straight away I just had this feeling that he was going to sleep longer. I kept thinking I was being silly, but still the feeling persisted... and guess what? He actually slept 5 hours before waking up! And now, thinking about it, this has happened on a few other occasions - where I've just had the feeling he was going to sleep more/less than he usually does. But how could I know? I like the idea of mummy instinct, so I'll stick to that .

Has anyone else had similar or other experiences of 'mummy instinct'?

Yep, except I've had it the other way- I will put DS to bed and just *know* its not going to be a good night. And I'm almost always right. Its kind of wierd!
