    How much do you drink???

Just curious how much alcohol people drink per week.

I drink 2-3 bottles of red wine per week but only get sloshed once per week usually on a friday night.
    How about everyone else?

Virtually nothing I used to binge drink every weekend before I got pg with DD1, but nowadays it's more like one or two drinks, twice a year (lol birthday and Christmas, unless I'm pregnant in which case it's soft drink!).
I just don't like going out of my way to buy something to drink (ie I can get bottles of Coke when I do my grocery shop, it's too much hassle to stop off at the bottle shop lol), and I think I'm a bit of a closet alcoholic - I find it very hard to stop at 'just one or two' and don't find alcohol to be relaxing or a way to 'wind down' after a hard day so I tend to write myself off if I get my hands on it I think it's better for me to stay away from it as much as possible hehehe!

i'd say at least once aweek we get drunk, so thats like 7 or 8 beers
i only drink beer, cant touch anything else, i love the taste of other stuff but dont like what it does to me...and i'm such a wuss when it comes to hangovers..

in saying that last few weeks i havent really had any...i find 1 or 2 doesn't even touch me so to get that relaxed feeling it needs to be 3 or 4 and after that i cant drive and that is another thing to organise...

my parents drink alot, mum would down a bottle of red every night at least, but a month ago actually stoped cold turkey to see if she could go a month without it, im so proud of her that she has actually done it, now she is just trying to make another week until her exams are over.
but because of that we have sort of slowed cause it wasnt uncommon for us to go to their place or out wit them and get drunk with them.

Nothing. LOL! Haven't touched it since pregnant with Jazz, and breastfeeding is a great excuse not to drink! I used to get drunk a lot when I was a teenager, and needed some help to stop, so I prefer not to touch it at all.

Shel doesn't drink either except for a toast on special occassions. She wrote herself off at her birthday last year, and I ripped into her. Nothing more shameful than going down in your own vomit or getting so trashed that you don't remember anything

I might have 1-2 drinks a week very occasionally, but mostly nothing.

If its a special occasion or night out maybe 2-3 drinks tops, but since having DS I'm just not interested. And I'm not BF either. I had a hard time recovering from the birth and I think my body is still telling me to stay in recovery mode IYKWIM?

hmmm come to think of it, not much these days. was quite a big drinker in my later teens and then decided to pull back a bit when we moved back to Oz.

now i reckon we maybe have a couple a drinks a week. DH usually has a couple of more beers than me as i now prefer the red wine to beer...although with the hot weather that might change LOL!

Probably 1 to 2 times a year. I've never been a big drinker, a little in my teens/early 20's but nothing much. I just can't be bothered now. I may have one at xmas or new years but I don't see the point in writing myself off when I just have to get up with DS the next morning, no rest for me

None! lol. Probably haven't had any for 2 yrs and have no desire to. Not interested in hangovers now that I WILL have to get up at 6am no matter what.

I usually have a bottle of wine a week either on a Friday or Sunday night. Lately though with this nice weather I've been drinking alot more. I am about to have an apple cider right now, which will turn into 2.....with the possibility of 3

I don't! Only on super special occasions, and then its just the one glass - but only if I'm not pregnant or breastfeeding - which I have been doing for over 3 years now!

Up until the last few weeks I was having a glass of wine about every second night. I don't binge anymore. The most I would have over the course of an evening (7pm until midnight) would be about 5 on special occasions.... unless i mistakenly order a "pint" of beer instead of a "pot" ROFL which I have been known to do at a BB night out! I haven't been plastered for over 15 years now.

Per week i would probably average 5 drinks, usually wine with meals.... but last week I don't think I had any.

I like a few drinks every now and then. But TBH I very rarely get "drunk". My metabolism doesn't really let me and the medication I'm on doesn't really agree with alcohol. But I do like a nice vodka and lemonade or some bubbles every now and again.

I've had 11/2 glasses of wine in the last 2years (& that was 2 weeks ago), before that I'd only have 1or 2 drinks a handful of times a year.

Barely any now! When I was at uni I did have a few really big nights (pub crawls..lol) but other than that just haven't been really interested in alcohol. I've had 2 since I had DD, but even then as I said to DF I just couldn't care less about it! I did drink a bit more than I do before I fell pg, but was never a big drinker anyway.

Hmmm, too much at the moment For the last 5 weeks I haven't been able to teach my classes so i've been spending ALOT of time at home and most days around 12 i've been having a light beer and then more once i'm home from the school run. It's really bad and I know it but it's been a really tough time lately, having to rest and not exercise But thats turning a corner now so hopefully once i'm out a lot and not sitting at home bored, I won't be drinking too much.

Usually I'd have a couple of glasses of wine or beer every second day (ish) and then more on the weekend...which is still a lot I guess.

Wow I feel like a real alco now!
I want to clarify that when I say sloshed I mean moderatly tipsy and not to the point where I am hungover or slurry.
There is no way I can pull an all nighter anymore with a 1yr old but I do enjoy winding down with a wine or 2.

So if it's not alcohol what is your vice?
