Give that a go, but also get some citronella and wipe that around all the entry points.

The white tails are getting bigger and bigger - scaarreeeeee.

Might need to try that aswell we get LOTS this time of year especially with the paddocks so dry etc, last night DD woke with a temp at 4:30, turned on her lamp and a big gross hairy thing was staring down at me from the ceiling.
Had no choice but to use spray as didn't want it sitting in there with me or when DD was alone in bed... ewwwww.

Roughly every 3 months I put a few drops of lemon oil on my broom and sweep the ceilings, walls, window & door frames, fly screens, screen doors etc and I find that I get a huge reduction in the number of spiders inside the house. I still get a few, but not as many. Also, the house smells lovely afterwards.

I couldn't find lemon oil in any supermarkets. You should be able to get it from specialist candle shops.

    Thanks Alan....

Well my bedroom and the kitchen, spare room, hallway & laundry smell VERY yummy right now, have put lemon oil on the broom and swept all the cornices, used some lemon oil and hot water (not much water) to wash all the windows and doors.

Have to do the dining area and lounge and i'm finished, am also going to put some lemon oil on the bottom of the vac (carpet and floorboard tools) and do the floors, I HATE SPIDERS.

I just went outside and used an entire can of fly spray on every single spider web on the windows and doors, normally i wouldn't but ewww white tails in with my baby!

Lets hope this is enough to keep them out, i'm sweating my butt off, it's like 33 here! yuck.
