My DH and i are trying to decide on a girl's name - wdyt of Ariana with the nickname of Aria?

Without sounding strange but my sisters dog is named Arianne, and she is Ari for short! I think it's a gorgeous name

Ariana is very pretty. I'd probably shorten it to Ari.

I work with a girl called Ariane (pronounced Ariana though) which is shortened to Ari.

I really like it, and suggested it to DH when I was pg, but it doesn't go with our last name.

Arianna was my girls name for DS until a 'friend' asked me my picked names, she had a girl 6wks before i had DS, and named her Arianna India (Indianna was the other name i told her we had chosen) she stole both names

I think its a fantastic name, but i wont use it, i have chose others

I think it's lovely but with the others think Ari is an easier NN.

Beautiful name, great choice..... nicknames end up usually being something spontaneous so don't worry too much abot nickname you will see what suits her.
