    Question Bleeding Bottom (TMI!!)

OK ... so I have just been to the loo and I appear to be bleeding from the bottom.. its a bright red and it was dripping into the toilet bowl..

Would it just be a hemoriod??

    Sorry TMI!

    is it painful?
i got hemeroids quite bad after DD (still have them now sadly ) because yes (and i didnt know this) but they can be just on the inside even if you dont feel anything on the outside. i have never bled like that tho (i also had them while pg) i only bled after i thought they were gone and i went to do a number 2 and it was quite painful and even then i only bled when i wiped, thats when i was told you can have them just on the inside.
id go to your drs just to be sure tho.

it was actually dripping? Can you feel the hemorrhoid? I would imgine tha tif it is bleeding enough to be dripping then it is sizeable enough to feel it.
If not, I would question where the blood was coming from. Bleeding from the bottom can be very serious....I would go to the doctor

if its not hurting i would definately see gp. if it is hurting it could be hemmaroid or fissure, but best to see gp for that too.

I had a chat to my mum and I also had a feel around and there is a lumpy type thing and I can feel where it has cracked and its stings.. espec if some wee gets in there! I assume that its a hemeriod but I will watch it over night and if its still bleeding tomorrow ill go to the Dr's.

It has stopped bleeding now - I think it poped when I pooped! (TMI!!)

    Thanks ladies!!

If you can feel something there, then I'd reckon it's probably a roid too. I'd see the dr anyway, mate. Just to be sure - particularly if there was that much blood. Best to be safe. I know it sucks having no privacy at all - I had a fissure after Phoebe and had to get checked out. But glad I did. Hope all's better soon.

also dont push when you Poo!
everyone does so much damage from pushing
if its a tough poo, rock back and forth massage your tummy.. but as i was told once, wait until its touching cloth

    Pawpaw is AWESOME for roids

OG - I am a BIG rocker on the loo - I find its the easiest way to get it out!

What a conversation we are having!! LOL

I am so embarrassed but I need some advice on hemarrhoids.. Even after 4 pregnancies I have never had one until a couple days ago.. at least I think it is a hemarroid..

It wasn't to bad until late yesterday and I couldn't even sleep properly last night Everytime I moved it felt like I was going to tear..

I am using Pawpaw cream at the moment. I do have some witch hazel as I read somewhere on here to try that..

I am seriously to embarrassed to go to the Drs.. Is there anything else I can do or get??

Please help lol.. Oh and it is an external one from all the googling I have been doing,.. It isn't coloured like grapes though if that helps. It is just a skin coloured lump..

Now off to go hide as I am mortified I have even told anyone

my friend got one during her third pregnancy and it went away once bub came along.,!
ask the chemist if you can use rectinol.. or something similar. something that is a bit numbing will be good. hope it gets better soon!

Not long after I posted I was desperate so I tried sudocream.. omg the relief.. it is still tender but I can walk without pain..

I finally needed to 'go to the toilet' and was terrified but I went and reapplied the sudocream and some pawpaw as it is a cleanser as well and voila almost painfree.. It isn't perfect but is a definate improvement..

Can I urge anyone with unusual bleeding to just get it checked by a Doctor. A friend has just had a nasty diagnosis after ignoring bleeding thinking it was haemerroids... she is only 37 too. I know it sounds alarmist but best to be sure. Go on - book the appointment now. xx

mine took awhile to go away on the outside after i had DD, for about 2 weeks i would get an ice cube in a freezer bag, but it in a sock and the tuck it in my pants outside of my undies and sit on it lol the relief was nice tho , i was using rectinol for awhille (didnt knmow anything about pawpaw then) next time i will try that.
i got mine when i was about 22 weeks pregnant when i got whooping cough and spent alot of time squating over the toilet coughing, they went away but came nack when i got to about 32-34 weeks i think coz of the pressure for bubs.
sad thing is once you got then, you got them. im really disappointed and also worrid about my next pregnancy.. will they be as bad? or worse? will they be worse after i have the next baby? am i at risk of prolapse or anything like that? is my pelvic floor weaker, or are hemeroids a different thing?

So will it keep reoccuring? I am unsure why I got one? I did go bike riding 4 days in a row last week so maybe that did it but other then that I can't seem to see anything else that might have caused it...
