    thickened cream

Just cleaned the fridge and realised we have 600ml of thickened cream to be used by tomorrow!! Anybody any ideas on how to use it up and pretty basic ways as DH has the car and i cant get to the shops to buy supplies and we are at the end of our fortnight before shopping so supplies are limited

can you make a creamy cheese sauce to go over vegies and pasta (we have a bottle that needs to be used very soon so i'll be doing that!) - you can make the vegies in bulk and then freeze it all sauced up and bake in the oven to reheat - drool!

umm, whip it up and make a chocolate ripple cake (takes only a couple of dollars to get the biscuits if youd on't have them - send DH on his way home)

Queen - that how I do potato bake too - the packet soup mix! lol so yummy!
Have you tried lasagne with tinned soup, instead of bechamel sauce? tops!

Yay for potato bake and packet soup mix especially yummy with cream of chicken. Whip it up for some choccy mousse. It makes divine butterscotch sauce-brown sugar and a nob of butter all mixed in a saucepan with cream until its gently boiling simmer for 2 mins and its done. So so yummy on ice cream particularly when the sauce is still hot.
