This is not yet common knowledge (PLEASE - no mention on FB as my work does not yet know and colleagues are friends - also neither do most my family but that's not as big a deal), in fact we are not yet 100% sure, but we *think* we are moving back south in 4-6 weeks time.
We are attempting to plan this with next to no $$$$ but we *should* be okay.
So... tell me, what do I need to do between now and then, think about in terms of money etc... Chuck in all the obvious ideas as its' likely I may not have remembered them.
Thanks - with love - and hope for new friendships when I am back in the M-Town - Pt Cook area more than likely.
Save as much as you can.
Do a really big cull of stuff you don't need or can pass on.
Pack as early as you can, as much as you can.
If you know anyone "passing through" give them a couple of boxes to stick in their boot.
Don't go grocery shopping unless ABSOLUTELY necessary- be creative with what you have in your cupboard - chucking out/moving food is expensive. It's also a lot of fun having "different" food for dinner/breaky/lunch!
well if you are starting fresh as in you live in a house with the 3 of you then you will need a bond + 2 weeks rent... can the department of housing help with a bond if necessary?
can you hire a trailor and tow the stuff? is there family who have a trailor that you can borrow or better yet they can tow your stuff for you?
If you need to do a couple of trips backwards and forwards is there someone you can leave DS with in M...? might make the trips a bit easier.
