im pretty sure freezer contents are covered by most contents insurances, but youd have to check
I swear, if it doesnt rain, it pours...
Come home this arvo with $200 worth of shopping to be told by DH that freezer isnt working...its not freezing...my frosty fruits are just water in a bag..... Dont ask me why he didnt call anyone.......ANYONE.
..and why it was left up to me, but it was. I didnt ring till 5pm (LG)....and...typical, i still aint heard anything. So my food in my freezer now, will most definetly be off by the morning....besides it being a total PITA...will LG cover my food costs ?? (the fridge was bought in July 2008, we got a 5 yr warranty, so fridge will be covered)....
Or do i ring our insurance co.??

If it falls withing the extended warranty part then I think you need to contact the place of purchase not LG. And I think whitegoods are only covered on insurance if you have the fusion as an extra on your insurance policy. I may be wrong... sorry not much help am I!
.place of purchase was bing lee - they know nothing....didnt suprise me.If it falls withing the extended warranty part then I think you need to contact the place of purchase not LG
Apparently i have to write an email/letter.....along with proof of my purchases to LG..... (OMG!!!) and then i may, just may get a refund. I luckily kept my receipt from woolies yesterday. Just rang mum and my two sisters to keep ANY food receipts they have. I will be getting all i can here - buggers !!!!!!
