You know when you dread something, like anxiety? It's around my solar plexus. sometimes when I think about it I get this rush, like adrenaline and I can't get rid of it.
It's been around for about three days now. I have the kids here so I can't meditate (find it hard anyway) but I might be able to tonight.
Do you think it's something in me or a feeling that something bad is going to happen? It's making me really, really cranky too. I'm just tired and grumpy but this feeling is so aghhhh...I can't stand it
Does this happen to anyone else? How do you get rid of it? I'm embarrassed to say i've been trying to get rid of it with wine (in the evenings) but only succeed around glass number three but I don't want that to become too much of a habit lol!
yes, usually it is hormone or stress related for me. I usually deal with it through exercise and increase my exercise until I feel better!!!!! Usually boxing helps the quickest!
I think you're right a lot of it has to do with not exercising. I haven't taught since Thursday morning and I can't remember the last time I trained for myself. Back with a class tomorrow then two on weds and two on Thursday so that should sort me out!
Thanks MG x
I feel bad because I've been really quiet and distracted and I hate feeling like this
Hehe - CQ, you are a gym/exercise junkie! And what you're describing; that impending feeling of doom, restlessness, feeling emotionally unstable etc... are all signs of withdrawal. Seriously! And if you've not been exercising, you're missing the endorphines that are normally produced by your exercise - your body is struggling to understand what is going on. I think you might find that even a gentle walk will help you to feel more at ease!
But if you're still feeling like this in a couple of days, it may pay to pop into your GP and have a chat with them.
