What does your little one get compliments on/for?

So, all our little ones are gorgeous, but what does your little one get compliments on? Hair, eyes, politeness, smile, laugh???

My DS always, always gets compliments on his big, big brown eyes. "Oh what gorgeous big brown eyes" "Look at those beautiful big eyes".

What does your LO get compliments on/for?

My DD always gets compliments for her amazing hair. She has gorgeous thick, long, brown hair (from her Greek dad!) and it's the first thing EVERYONE says lol. My son just gets, WOW he looks so cute!

My DS2 always gets compliments on his hair (strawberry blonde), blue eyes and strawberries and cream skin (he should have been a girl LOL).
DD as she is so placid and smiles at anyone and everyone. People always mention her eyelashes.
DS1 for his nature, quiet, well mannered.

Ds1 has been told by people that he's gorgeous from an early age lol. People were always telling us he should do child modelling etc.

For ds2 most comments are about his eyes apparently he has " Ray liotta' eyes according to my family

Little one invariably gets "wow, look at all those golden curls" and then a look at me (straight brownish hair) and then my partner (long straight blonde hair) "where did she get them from?"

As to the other one, I think she's a bit too big now for "oooh that's so cute" comments, being almost as tall as I am and probably too old to be "cute" anyway, and she's usually talking so much you couldn't get a compliment in edgeways if you tried

But when she was little and out with my mother she used to get "she's so cute and she looks just like her grandma!" and my mother would say "so does that mean I'm cute too?". She does look like grandma. Not me. Bah. My mother says its revenge because I never looked anything like *her*

I had a comment from a nurse at RCH who said, "Aw she's so cute," and when I thanked her I got "No, really. I'm not just saying that". Hehe, she is very cute!

She has masses of tight curls that everyone comments on and dimples too. We got it right somehow, her dad and me!

Her curls and her blue eyes. More about the eyes when she was younger (they stood out more, plus she didn't really have any hair then!).

Otherwise, people generally comment on how well she can write her clear speech. She also gets noticed for her adult turns of phrase ("oh my goodness!", "I'm not so keen on that", "actually..." she spends a lot of time with adults!). She amazed DP's workmates last week when we popped in and she told them Neil Armstrong was the first person on the moon and Buzz um... was the second. Thanks preschool!
