Help! She drew on the lounge!!

DD1 has taken her artwork to our lounge room and drawn on our suede lounge with blue biro
As beautiful as her drawing is I don't know what to use to get it out.
    Any suggestions welcome

Did you have a protective coating put on the lounge when you bought it?

If you do, just try water on a sponge.

Maybe you should call the manufacturer. When my monkey drew on my lounge I rang the people I bought it from they sent out a special pen off product by courier, told me how to clean it and recommended a cleaning company to call if my measures were ineffective.

We brought it from a friend ages ago... would have to look up a manufacturer.

I doubt it has a protective coating on it

I probably should just pay to get it cleaned properly... who knows what other crap is on it... wine/vomit/milk...

We got ours professionaly cleaned, and that didnt get it all off, but my darling child used permanent marker, not biro.

I have successfully gotten biro off the faux suede couch using windex and a sponge.
What colour is your couch? Ours is chocolate (the one the biro got one - the texta was on cream ) but all the biro came off.

If you are hesitant to use windex cos of the blue colour - I know I was - and you have throw cushions you could try it out on those frst, or on the back of the couch in a small part that no one will see.

Ordinary pen on leather comes off with alcohol, which would be why windex works. We used metho and a lot of gentle rubbing on our last biro art masterpiece on our red leather couch. Nothing else we had in the house made even a slight impact on the pen. Grrr toddlers.

Try a baby wipe. I swear those things will clean anything! A friend & I use them on our lounges. Can't think, but I'm sure I got pen off before.

if a baby wipe doesnt get it off, try a WD40 pien, worked a treat on a pen drawing on our microsuede couch!

I had this problem yesterday. Black permanent marker on a macro suede lounge

It came out with hairspray on cotton tips dabbed at the stain It did take about 45 minutes for it all to come off and then I had to use baby wipes to get the hairspray off the lounge but my sofa is saved

Traveller - I tried that on mine but it didnt work. How long does it take to notice a difference? Maybe I wasnt patient enough?

I sat for about ten minutes on each stain, but as soon as I put the hairspray soaked cotton bud to the lounge I noticed ink being lifted off

Help! She drew on the lounge!!

If you use baby wipes colour test them first... they took the colour out of our lounge. Scary stuff!!

Hairspray and baby wipes are both quite likely to have alcohol in them too

I wonder if vodka would work?

vodka would work, drink an entire bottle and you will not care about the lounge
