Bugaboo Chameleon polar fleece stained....

I have a Bugaboo Cameleon(sp?) with the polar fleece covers (bright red). In the 11 months I've had it, I've never gotten around to washing it . Because of this it has a couple of places where the dirt has accumulated. I just put it through a gentle machine wash and while it looks a bit cleaner these marks haven't come out.
Any idea's?
Can I soak them? It doesn't say on the tag. I'm scared of damaging them as they're soo expensive to replace!

Could you dryclean? I'd be leaving something like that to the professionals. Then again, I'm a pretty crap Domestic Goddess!
