    DS is pregnant - Just sharing

    So, DS has a baby in his tummy. He also has boobies to give his baby a drink of milk.
    Ok. I get that - it's a new role-play game.

    But then yesterday he comes over to me with an allen key, which he's placed in a little zip-lock baggie, and says: "It's my baby. it's cute. oooooo, cuddle the baby"
    Then he leaves it on the floor somewhere and forgets about it.
    He brings it out again today. "Baby is sleeping. It's the baby's bed [pointing to the plastic bag]*" Then lucky baby gets a breastfeed.

    But.... then a few minutes later DS has taken the allen key out of the bag and hands it to me: "It's a sword. Mummy, go cut down a tree."

    *I do NOT put my children in zip-lock bags.

    That's a crack-up!

    I'm sure my DS will come out with bizarre stuff like this when he can talk in sentences...

    I just wanna know how many trees you've cut down with your sword

    I just love how children these days have a million squillion toys... but they still find entertainment in the most random things ^^;

    So it's not weird then?
    He comes out with some pretty random stuff, but this one cracks me up every time I think of it. Must make a record of it somewhere for the 21st...

    My friend's little girl used to play with the household cleaners under the sink and make families out of them. They tried everything to ensure that she couldn't get to the cupboard - what with bleach being poisonous and all (EEKK) but she never ever tried to drink them or anything - just made little families out of them and they all had names etc

    We used to joke that we'd call Social Services on them! LOL
