The ghost at work was on the rampage today...

Today the ghost at work was more crazy than usual. It was actually quite scary. I've never seen it so aggressive. There was such an eerie feeling there today.

I was in the kitchen today when a metal tray flew across the room I'd just washed it and sat it upside down on the bench next to the sink, the bench there has a lip around the edge so water doesn't spill on the floor. Somehow though the tray was thrown through the air and landed 3 metres away from the bench. Things were also 'falling' off the top of the fridge all day.

The wind chime kept going off, this isn't unusual really, usually it just quietly swings but today it was more crazy than normal like it had more force behind it. Then the front door opened as though someone was going through it. The front door opens outwards, there is no way the wind could have opened it.

I don't think the ghost likes the renovations they're doing downstairs at the moment. I hope she behaves herself tomorrow.

Wow, sounds like the ghost is not happy with something, hopefully she will be better tomorrow.

It used to severely freak me out, she's done some very strange things over the past couple of years. I think I'm used to it. My boss thinks i'm crazy

Well it is the full moon (2nd night of the 3 night phase) and the moon is in Pisces (which is an emotional sign, one of the water signs), so that could have something to do with it, as well as the renovations. They get set in their ways, and aren't big fans of change in their environments.

If that had been me there, when the tray flew across the room, I'd probably have just yelled at ghostie & said "Yes I know you're upset because of the renovations but taking it out on me isn't going to stop them, they're just renovating". But then again I have grown up with ghosties all around me, I'm used to them I think.

I just want to congratulate you on the single most-attention-grabbing thread title I think I've ever seen on BB

Have you considered getting someone in with a bit of experience on assisting to move on?

yeh certainly sounds like the reno's have caused the upset ... Tinks are you the only one witnessing this ?? ... I'm curious as to why you refer to it as a 'her', have you seen her ?

I worked in a very old building in Collingwood many, many years ago where i had witnessed a male ghost walk about always the same time of day but was always out the corner of my eye once i looked at it straight on it would disappear. But lucky for me i always felt safe with it there, like it was protecting me at a dangerous time of day.

Tinks hope it all settles down soon, as you must feel on edge a lot these days at work not knowing what to expect. Have you spoken out loud when it's done something, might be an ok idea to do so and see if anything changes.

Sopdet & Tinks you will be happy to know when you come for breaky at my place next month that we have never seen any ghosts in our 73year old little house

oooh i was wondering that same thing

Tinks maybe you could ask if it's name is Laura and see what comes of it, if you're game (??) !!

(Tinks do you work in a Butcher shop ?, don't worry if you can't respond)

No it's not a butcher shop.

I think this ghost is a different one, it's much more violent than the other one. Someone tried to commit suicide underneath the shop many years ago but didn't succeed. They are currently making a room underneath so I'm wondering if it's disturbing this guy. I'd love to get someone in but the boss thinks i"m nuts.

Pandora we call the ghost Lillian or Lilly. We've told her to stop and haven't seen or heard from her in a while. Other people have witnessed it too. There have been flashes of light, things falling, things going missing only to turn up right in front of us the next day, we quite often see someone walk past the kitchen doorway and hear strange noises etc. I did used to see a man standing in a doorway, that doorway is no longer there since the last renovations and I haven't seen him since. It was really quite scary at first but now we're all just used to it.
