    Question HaB or close carrier

Im currently borrowing a HaB and an enjoying using it, DH finds it all too hard lol

So i also have a friend with a CC who loves it, and has also tried the HaB.

    what do you find easier?

im thinking of buying one to keep me going as i need to return the HaB at the end of the month, and wanted to get one now ive had a go with one.

I think the CC might be easier for DH to get on and off.

any tips of advise pro's and con's

    Thanks

Well you already know my thoughts

As soon as you put the close carrier on you'll know Definately by far the best! Try one on when you go to pick up your nappies! Damn, I wish you & S had both tried mine on when I was there!

I have both. If you're going to buy one, I'd say buy the CC, and make up your own HaB style wrap carrier, and you'll get one each!

I'm not a fan of using the ergo for newborns, I really think ergos are an awesome carrier, but from about 3-4 months up

I prefer the Close Carrier because its already half tied for me. The HaB (while I've never tried it) I have tried other wraps and I was too worried bubs would fall out while I'm stuffing around getting the right folds and knots and stuff, far too stressful for me.. LOL

So I would say Close Carrier

I had a HAB for DS and loved it, I bought a CC for DD as I liked that it was similar but with no tying lol. I absolutely love my CC. I also have an Ergo but something didnt look right to me with the newborn insert.

The Ergo's have new infant inserts, different design now, so they actually create a pouch for bubs, which I think personally are much better and worth a look at, they are not expensive.

I used a CC for Charlotte, but she was too big for it by the time they came out, but it was very easy to use, and I have a couple here now for this bubs.
I never used a wrap, but can see how the CC will be much simpler to use, found a really cheap HAB on EBay so have one of those now, and will see how we go...maybe I'll practice with a teddy

Anyway, check out ebay, you may be able to get one cheap and get one of each.

I LOVE my HaB. LOVE it.

    Did that help?

    Ha ha ha.

I have more than one carrier (three) and I think two is perfectly OK. You can have my HaB in a few months

I practice with a bag of polenta, the weightand floppiness is more real than any of our teddies. Once I put a hat on it too, and DH was totally spooked by it, reckoned I could have walked it down the street and noone would have known.

I have both, but haven't used the CC yet. The hab was great with DS, but I think CC seems like it'll be easier to use. The hab can take a much bigger/heavier baby, however, so it's probably worth having both. Or some others as well. Can you have too many? I only have 2 and a sling...

That's kinda weird but clever Audax.

my DH is really uncoordinated and cannot use our ring sling but finds the CC the BEST thing ever. so i vote for CC...but we havent used the HaB before...

oh and we have 3 carriers ATM... never can have too many.

I have used both and I like different things about each. I used the CC for my last bub and I loved it. Although I only used it until she was 5 months mainly because it was too hot.

I have the cc, I love it it's very soft and comfy to wear as well as being easy to adjust. I used a ring sling that went over the shoulder with the girls but it hurt my back.

Oh gosh... I read that as "a bag of placenta"
