    Shampoo and conditioner

Need your help ladies- looking for a good quality shampoo and conditioner.
I have tried heaps of brands, but since having a baby- my hair is different now.
My hairdresser uses and sells PPS- love the products, hate the shampoo and conditioner
My hair is colored brown with a few blonde chunks, the texture is normal, a little dry.
I wash my hair every 3-4 days, so not worried on price

I am actually converted from regular shampoos and conditioners and now use Moogoo shampoo and conditioner. I think its the best my hair has been in YEARS. I colour my hair all the time. the ends are brittle even after a trim but my roots normally get oily after a day.

Since using the moogoo stuff I really only NEED to wash my hair once a week, but I still like to do it 3 times a week LOL. best of all its mild enough to use on DD

only thing I miss is it does not really lather up

I use head and shoulders (sensitive)

I have a terrible allergic reaction to most shampoos and my head get so itchy that I scratch it and it bleeds and I have found Head and Shoulders works and I don't react to it. It's nice too - I have had a few hair dressers comment how soft my hair is and ask me what I use. When I tell them and why I use it, a couple have told me that they have other customers say the same thing.

I have tried a few of the hairdressers shampoos as well but all result in an itchy scalp so I can't tell you what else is nice, I have never managed to use anything for longer than a couple of days.

Yep, I am the same as Nae.
I have used all sorts of shampoo's in the past, right up to your $50 a bottle ones.
Moo Goo has been good. Only thing is you have to wash your hair twice, the 2nd wash you will get the lather.
When I was at hairdressers recently they said you should wash twice anyway, as the first wash gets all the 'muck' out and the 2nd wash gets it clean and lovely
The Salon I go to swear by Morroccan Oil, they love it. They use it when I go on my hair and it is great if you want a Salon Shampoo and Conditioner. They say it's an all natural one too.

What size are those shampoos and conditioners Nae? My small bottles of another natural type are running low and I need to get some more before they run out

500ml each. They last for a very very long time. The Conditioner has lasted a few months as you only need a small amount. The Shampoo has lasted probably 2mths. They retail at about $17.95 each.

    LOL Heather.

Yep, you can buy it from selected health care stores and Amcal pharmacies but I always order from them direct no difference in price except postage but for me I have to travel 1hr return to buy it so I save myself the time by ordering online. FWIW as we use the milk wash on DD I save the pumps and pop them on the containers for shampoo and conditioner

Right I'm getting moogoo then too I am sick of trying out new products for my hair as it went ferral about 5 years ago now. I've found a few products that I liked to start with and then they also made my hair yuck, either too dry, too oily or too something! I'm currently using muk deep cleansing and deep conditioning treatmetn shampoo & conditioner. I may use continue to use that every now and again for a 'treatment' but get some moogoo for the rest of the time

NaeNae do you color your hair lighter or darker? I ruined my hair going lighter and now it's so dry and I find I need to straighten it or use a thick treatment conditioner for it too look half decent. My hair also is oily the next day and it's driving me mad, that problem has really only started since bub was born though. Is there one type of moogoo or different ones, if so which one do you use?

I've started using Australian organics, it's from Coles, something like 98% organic ingredients, no nasty stuff and is yummy!
Like moogoo tho, it doesn't lather.

Haha! I have tried all other moogoo products except the shampoo and conditioner so I can't give advice on that!
My favourite shampoo and conditioner at the moment is DeLorenzo. It's awesome. I also use the Morrocan Oil treatment mask every second wash and the leave in oil after every wash. I recently went from really dark back to really blonde and my hair is in awesome condition after using the treatment.
