Haha! I have tried all other moogoo products except the shampoo and conditioner so I can't give advice on that!
My favourite shampoo and conditioner at the moment is DeLorenzo. It's awesome. I also use the Morrocan Oil treatment mask every second wash and the leave in oil after every wash. I recently went from really dark back to really blonde and my hair is in awesome condition after using the treatment.

As the sister of a hairdresser and former trainee of hers I have some tips.

    1. PPS has great styling products but the shampoo & conditioner tended to dry my hair out with extended use.
    2. the only cure for dry brittle or split ends is to cut them. The pantene ads are not true and conditioner can't undo damage.
    3. If you heat style (especially straighteners and curling irons) always use a heat protective product first. Never skip it. And use a treatment at least once a month.
4.If you colour your hair (the lighter the shade the more peroxide and potential damage) use treatment more often.
    5. Never brush hair when wet, it will break. Dry brush before washing to avoid tangles. Afro comb only once wet. If you have waves, never brush dry hair or it will '****'.

I think that's about it. These were the golden rules as taught to me and my hair is almost to my waist, coloured and heat styled semi regularly, and in great condition.

I use Bedhead Brunette Goddess shampoo & conditioner and moroccan oil after each wash. Do invest in the 1L sizes if you can, these save me a lot of cash and last 9 months or so.

forshelby that's some great info there! I have used an afro comb since I was about 12 years old but I do comb dry before the shower and after when it's wet but it sounds like that's ok with the afro comb. I tried the bedhead honey & oatmeal shampoo and conditioner maybe 10 years ago when my hair was perfect anyway and i found it to be really expensive, HARD to get out of the bottle and it made my hair a bit blah so I'm not even sure if I finished the bottles that I had. I tend to agree about the dry brittle hair and I feel like I want to cut my hair really short to get all the color treated hair out and then start growing natural stuff. The only problem is that I don't like my hair short and am tempted to dye it lighter again anyway so I may as well find good products to manage it now so that the new stuff doesn't get too damaged.

Ive been using natural shampoos and conditioners for years. It takes a while of using them, but your hair eventually gets a lot more healthy than it would have been if you were using the chemical based ones which just dry your hair out. Most of the natural ones wont strip your natural oils so it gives your hair a chance to be healthy.
ive been using alchemy brand for years which is really nice but now just use sukin coz its cheaper.

I found the ones with SLS in tend to strip your hair then disguise the fact they've stripped your hair. I know one shampoo made my hair feel so squeaky clean it was like wearing latex gloves while conditioning... it was horrid. Moogoo has definately repaired 90% of the damage and hair is getting better every wash!
