All seems to be going well except i want baby to come.....
I keep waking up in the morning and thinking I'M STILL HERE!! So is baby.... I know i'm not even due, i guess it was all that anxiety over hoping bub wouldn't come b4 the 1st jan now 11 days later it feels as if i've been due forever!!
When i had my appt the midwife was saying that the bub is back to back, which i wasn't happy about.... I've heard it can make labour more painful.
I have 2 other children and my labours were great back to front so just assumed it would be the same, when will i learn!!
Anyway i know its just hormones, but i could barely bring myself to get dressed, i managed to do so just before lunch....
I need a pick me up!!

: add extra info!
if it makes you feel any better ds was back to back the whole time and turn just before labour. i hope that happens for you and bub arrives very soon. sending loads and loads of labour vibes your way
Hi love.tillie, I was about to post a thread with the same feelings!!! Until I read yours, I feel exactly the same, had my Drs app today, I'm 38+2 and frustrated, hoping for a VBAEMC, had heaps of cramping, pain, braxs and hicks, last week, all week, now nothing. Also Dr said today baby had moved back up again whereas last week I was 4/5 engaged which I was excited about as my first never engaged, not even come close, was high and free, no contractions, or even the slightest twinge. I was hoping not to have another c-section if possible, and my Dr says he will let me go to 40+4 to give me the chance to go naturally. I susspose all I can say to you which is what Ive been telling myself, I'm well, bubs is well, and will come when ready, and keep nesting, if possible!!!! Good luck to you and hopefully very very soon, lots of hugs
I totally understand how your feeling and I still have 10.5wks to go - I got to 41+3 with DS when I was induced and he didn't arrive until 41+5 after an emergency c-section when he got stuck (he has a big round boof head, the monster).
My DS was back to back, and this one is as well.
Have you had a look at the Spinning Babies website? Google it, and it will come up, has HEAPS of info, directions and ideas for getting bub to spin around to the anterior position, I'm trying some of them already and hoping that they'll work.
No problem Tillie, glad I could help a bit. I seem to be up and down all the time too, all those darn hormones floating around. Hubby has been on the receiving end of my temper quite a bit lately, sooo much different to when I was preg with my DS, I was so easy to get along with back then lol
If it's any consolation, S was posterior at the last appointment I had before I went into labour (2 days prior) and he turned and was fine.
Both mine came at 39+6... I was well and truly ready by then, as well! I found in between the stuff I needed to do (ie general housework, looking after S, etc) I would treat myself by having a yummy morning tea or watching something on TV that I really wanted to see - taking time for myself, you know?
BUT, I know it's easier said than done, and by the time this baby is ready to come out (probably right at term, knowing my history!) I'll be in exactly the same position as you!
Hi Sasha, thanks! i'm so ready mentally and physically right now! I'm all systems go! Today is my due date so its gotta be sometime soon i feel it in my waters!!
I was up this morning at 4.30 with pain every 10 mins, bareable, but then 1 1/2 hr later it was gone!! So if anything i know its bound to happen!! My body is getting close!!
Hi Tillie, hope its all happening for you!!! I have resigned to the fact that I might be having a c-section, have an app on Tues and will be chatting with my Dr about it as not much is happening, and bubs has moved up again! Were well though, which is great, my last few days have been great physically, have been to the gym, back in my old routine after a few downers : - )
I will continue to nest, were renovating at the moment so theres always something to clean, and with all the rain lots of weeds will be appearing in my garden!
Hi Lizzy,
Its such a tough time this part of pregnancy! The ups and downs with moods, false alarms, worry about baby's safety, c-sections, midwife telling you that baby is fixed, then the next visit another telling you that bABY is posterior and floating!! Its really hard to just get through the day!!
Good on you for feeling so well within yourself...and going to the gym!!, thank goodness for house work at this time to keep us distracted! I read somewhere else here and took the advice wrote myself a list of things to do around the house and have been steadily going through that list, even bought myself a proper grout brush for the bathroom floor lol!
Best of luck to you for your appt on Tue with your DR i hope it goes the way you want it to, thats my next appt with the midwifes so i'll be thinking of you.
