    Unhappy Indegestion??

Has anyone had really bad indegsetion in their last week, week and a half of pregnancy? I know it comes and when the baby drops down a bit it usually goes away, but the last 3 days I have had a really bad burning in the lower part of my throat which I assume is indegestion. I have eaten small frequent meals only, drank milk to help ease it, sat up after meals, have researched it and done all I can I thought. I was just wondering if anyone had any idea why it has just come in the last few days, is persistent all day, and I haven't had it at all throughout my whole pregnancy. I only have a week to go. Anyone with any advice or thoughts? It's been quite annoying and I don't feel like eating. Thanks in advance

Ive had it from 20 wks.

Try sleeping propped up at night. try drinking mylanta, taking zantac helps too, which u can get over the counter at the chemist, but ask your dr/ob/mw before you take it.

Also see if u notice a pattern to what sets it off. For me, eating tomato based foods like spag bol, lasagne set mine off.

You get it because baby/uterus pushes ur stomach up and then squashes it causing ur stomach acid to backflow up ur oesophegus.
