Hi nikkie! I don't know about the Wii fit but I found that walking outside in the fresh air and sunshine to be amazingly helpful. Not sure how possible it is for you but even sitting soaking up the sunshine for some time each day is good too. Best of luck xxx

Lots of exercises are safe in pregnancy, such as swimming or walking. Lots of swimming pools have aquanatal classes which are designed specificity for pregnant women. I'm not sure if wii fit would be a good idea, the programmes are unlikely to be tailored for a pregnant woman.

There is absolutely no reason why you cannot exercise during pregnancy.
I would suggest perhaps having a chat to the PT at your local gym and ask them to give you some exercises you can do at home. They will also teach you how to do them safely.
But there is no reason at all you can't do even moderate to even some heavy exercise while pregnant.

The only problem with the WiiFit while pregnant is that your centre of gravity shifts - but it can definitely still be done.

gunna go out on a limb here because I am definitely not expert but I would say it 'should' be fine.
I have one and they are definitely not a heavy workout by any means, so something is better than nothing. I probably wouldn't be doing all of the exercises like the muscle workouts or some of the yoga poses or the running but if it gets you moving and starts making some endorphins then it's a help right?
    Stop if it's uncomfortable.

I recommend walking, personally. It's a safe, gets you out of the house and into the fresh air and sunshine, which are also good for depression. When exercise is mentioned for depression, it usually just means to keep active (ie don't wallow on the couch or in bed), it doesn't have to be strenuous at all. I, too, have depression and I found walking with a friend a really good way to keep motivated during pregnancy and it was good to have someone besides DH to talk to on a regular basis.
