So where did you get your text books from??

So is there somewhere you can get cheap text books?

For those already studying where do you get your books from?
I have had a look at textbookexchange and sent a few requests off. Hopefully I get lucky and can pick up some cheap books.

    Anywhere else I should look?

Unibooks is where I got mine from. I bought them one day and they arrived the next.

Textbook exchange here, I've always had really good luck with them! Otherwise sometimes ebay or if it's a new edition I just get it from the bookshop at uni.

Good luck, it's such a big investment!

If your uni/tafe has an online student portal, check there because students will post lists of textbooks they are selling. Also worth going into the building and looking at noticeboards, as some people will post lists of textbooks they are selling there. Provided you check the edition numbers, you shouldn't have any problems

I always got mine from amazon (I didn't discover the book depository until after uni). Even paying postage it was a lot cheaper than buying them here. I know I probably should have bought them locally, but during 7 years of study I saved hundreds of dollars.

I know you've got your books now, but I use the Co-Op Bookshop to get most of my books. I payed a $20 membership and that entitles me to member discounts for as long as I need to buy textbooks. I saved well over $100 on my last order.

I know i will want them, and probably want to keep a lot as I am a) a hoarder and b) will highlight the crap out of anything!!

I get my books either from the uk book depository, ebay, fishpond dot com dot au, or unibooks, depending on who is cheaper.
