I hate J&J and refuse to put any of their stuff on my bubs. It's evil!
And lol to the no tears comment... kinda defeats the purpose of no tears hey??
(Hope this is okay in here, can't see any baby product specific related areas)
I have been going through our cleaning products, creams, etc at work and the MSDS(material safety data sheets)which are used to inform how best to store/use chemicals, their ingredients, first aid etc.
I could find sheets for everything we had online, except for ANYTHING made by J&J - their website says to contact them and they will supply you with the required MSDS. Why do they make it so secretive?
I did contact them and I did get the sheets I wanted emailed to me - and wow some of them are longer than actual chemicals we use to clean- like bleach! Found it rather interesting how the no tears baby shampoo says to wash immediately if the child gets in their eyes.
I now see why people don't like J&J products for their babies!

how interesting!
very interesting....very interesting
thanks for that
J&J have ALOT to hide. They are the WORST company to buy products from especially baby products. They are petrochemical based and petrochemical byproducts.... poison anyone? In tests, they were ranked amongst the most toxic and related to cancers. There used to be online reports somewhere, on a site about the ugly side of beauty or something....

Sad isn't it that all the marketing means MOST baby products in the supermarket are J&J and the hospitals use and recommend their products.
I have to admit, I have always bought their products and was never aware of what they contained!
They also test on animals so thats another nail in the coffin for me I still have a heap of unused from DD1 that I got as gifts Im making a basket for my cousin of little inocent products
Yuck yuck yuck! Glad the products I use are all natural and I understand what I'm reading in the ingredients list.
Another reason to strongly promote smaller, all natural products to all my mummy to be friends. I have never used their stuff on DD and NEVER will.
it's pretty scary huh...
So tell me then, for future reference, what are the baby products that you girls use?
we use pear shampoo ( i think the brand is MOP), and GAIA products, qv baby balm and qv bath oil
I think any company that didnt say to wash their product out of a babies eyes, regardless of the ingredients, would be negligent.
QV is also made with non natural ingredients. I use MooGoo products mainly.
I use one from a friend who is a naturopath, will have to ask her the name. I ran out and haven't seen her to get a new one.
It's great
There are heaps of organic baby products available, just most of them aren't in the shops, you get them online. But that is the case with any type of organic beauty products.
I like the gaia ones, and the eco store ones that I have tried are nice too. They are both available in supermarkets. I know Sukin have a range of baby products that are quite affordable. I am planning on trying those when I run out the ones I have at the moment. I have heard the Weleda stuff is nice but haven't tried it myself.
QV aren't organic/ all natural but I am pretty sure they are free of the nastiest things (could be wrong though), and the intense moisture cream did wonders for DS1's eczema.
If you do a google search for organic baby products you will find a wide selection.
The nicest products I have found are Miessence, Moogoo, Gaia, and theres one other I can't remember what its called but it starts with A!! Will be back when I remember it!![]()
I use Moogoo, I love it![]()
