Generic school uniforms

Where would I look, to buy plain grey school trousers?

The uniform shop at DS' school have them @ $40/pair but we can get them anywhere provided they're the right colour

What type are they? Do they have a button fly and zip or are they just pull on ones? BigW is OK, but I have used the Vitorian Schoolwear Company before to get stuff if I can't get the size I need in BigW.

Either. They can be full elastic, half or normal button fly and zip.

As long as they are tailored and the right shade of grey

Do they have a swatch of fabric you can take with you when you buy them? Or even find out the brand they are? Most the the time grey is grey, but ther can be differences if it is a different fabric type.

I've got his school shorts that are the same colour I just wasn't sure where to look other than the uniform shop( where we bought the shorts)

Lowes always have different types of school wear.
Try Big W, Best & Less & possibly Target.

KMart is another place to look. Also try op shops for school uniforms

Kmart, BigW, Target, Lowes. I got DS's school shorts/trousers from Target because I refuse to pay the very inflated price the uniform shop charges.
