What is your favourite kitchen appliance/tool/utensil?

What is your favourite kitchen appliance/tool/utensil?
You can name only one thing.

I used mine today. It is my frying pan for crepes. Many years ago my Granny who made the best crepes ever told me that the secret to really wonderful crepes is to have a great frying pan and to only use it for crepes and to never ever use detergent to clean it. Somehow I was lucky enough to end up with her old crepe pan. I suspect it was probably made in the 60's. The only reason I have for saying this is the font on the brand name. It is perfectly seasoned, nothing could ever stick so all it ever needs is a wipe with paper and hot oil. It makes perfect crepes every time.
    I heart my crepe pan.

Cheese slicer. Just a hand held bit of plastic with 2 wires. Does not always slice perfectly, but is much better than trying to slice a block of cheese with a knife. On our third now and I always keep an eye out to see where I can replace it if need be. The funny thing is, when it was first given to us we wondered what on earth would be do with it

My jug, for endless cups of tea.

Though I think if Santa delivered a Kitchenaid mixer for Christmas *cough cough DH - the future lottery winner* that would be my favourite.

I was actually thinking about this very thing the other day whist pottering away in my kitchen. And do you think I could remember what it is that I thought of? Nooo! Of course not!

Mine is a bakers scraper thingy... it's a square that bakers use, I love it. Scrapes every last drop out of my kitchen aid bowl, cleans up surfaces from flour etc. I use it for heaps of things... and of course the kitchen aid, AMEN!

At the moment I'm loving my pasta maker. I've only used it twice, but it's so much fun making my own pasta...and nothing beats the taste!

My brand new Bosch dishwasher that DP installed yesterday - that handwashing gig was getting really old! 3 weeks since the old dishwasher died and I was over it!
