    Brother XL 2620 sewing machine

    Hi!

Ok so I have been wanting a sewing machine for ages now!!! And we are very tight on money so waiting for a good sale.
Target has a Brother XL 2620 sewing machine going on sale tomorrow for $149!!! That's 50% off!! It has like 26 stitch options, auto button hole etc... much better than the other machines I have been looking at for the same price! I am SOOOOOO excited!

I just have to convince DH to let me buy it now! I have already called and they have 30 in stock.

Anyone have this machine or a Brother sewing machine?? I know they are good but I just want to hear some other feedback..

Do you sew a lot? If you already have the skills, and do a wide range of stuff, then it might leave you behind, But if you're on your Ls still, or even your Ps, I think it will serve you well.

    Enjoy!

Oh, and I have just received a massive donation of fabric, sing out if you want som

    Wow thats awesome!
I didnt even know that Target had sewing machines??? Where abouts are they?

I told DH I wanted one for my birthday this year so if I can get one on sale and a bargain at that, I may just have to think of something else I want instead

I just bought a brother and I LOVE IT!!!! Mine's the NS50 I went up a bit because it's going to be my 'forever' machine.

Mind you, if they had some of the 2620s for the price you're quoting, I would've definitely gone for that one

Loving making projects at the moment, recycling all my old tees into bubba clothes! Good luck with yours!

It should come with a little kit of needles and foots (feet?) and the instructions of course. I bought some scraps from spotlight and am just using old material at home while I'm practising. I don't see a point in me buying heaps of exxy fabric when I'm probably just going to ruin it!!! LOL

Two things I'd like to get are a cutting board and roller cutter for fabric (a bit like a pizza cutter). In the meantime I bought some fabric scissors from woolies. Oh!!!! And you'll need thread

    LOL FM! yay!!!!

Krystals: I might get a fabric cutter and board tomorrow... I wanted one already for my headbands but now with a sewing machine I will *need one.. hahaha.

Sunshine: woohoo! that's good you got it the same price. They do go on sale a bit at Target, perhaps it's because no one knows they sell them?
