    Tomorrow...

...is the start of the new me
I haven't been happy with my body for a while now and starting tomorrow I'm gonna do something about it and actually stick it out this time.
My mum has DS for the day so DF and I are hitting the gym then going food shopping and coming out with a junk food free trolley.
I'm determined to be healthy before we try for number 2, I wanna start from scratch not just add weight to the excess I already have.
I used to work in a gym and was a fitness freak so hopefully tomorrow I rekindle my love with the place and wanna go back for more
    Wish me luck

Good luck Raffy. Sounds like your about to become very proactive.

About 6 years ago now I was like you sans any babies yet and decided enough was enough with my weight. I decided to start the second I thought about it, but decided to do it slowly and make it a lifestlye change not a diet and it worked. I lost 20kgs and even after 2 kids, I have maitianed my lifestyle.
My tip would be before you go shopping make sure you eat. When you go shopping on an empty stomach your more likely going to buy much more stuff you don't want.

Thanks Hun, that's what I want as well, it's not so much about losing weight, coz there is no way I'm over weight I just want to be healthy again and lose my baby fat and feel good about myself, ever since DS was born we have been extremely slack when it comes to eating so just wanna go back to eating better and looking after ourselves more, I always feel awesome and motivated after I go to the gym so I figure if I keep going I'll stay motivated. An thanks for the tip regarding shopping lol

Good luck! Sounds like you've found the motivation to get started, which is always the hardest step. I find the food shopping is such a cruicial point - I agree with Kazzo, don't go on an empty stomach, and of course if you don't buy crap then it's not in the house, so you won't eat it! My weakness is the woolies brand choc chip biscuits, I really need to stop buying them!!!

Yay - good on you and your dh! Anothor shopping tip - make a meal plan for the week and buy only what you need. That way you know whats for tea and you can start to get it all ready during the day so if you have a really busy day you're not tempted to get takeaway or whatever.
I have just started going back to my PT 2 months ago and i have never felt better - just wait for those endorphins to kick in!
