    I guess I'll kick it off .

I gave birth to Bree on Monday the 18th April, 2011. She was 9lb 2oz (4.14kgs) - not bad for a chic eh ? Oh, and she was born with two bottom teeth, just like her big brother!

She had regained her birthweight by day 2 - and is a mini Miss Piggy! We feed her on demand, and other than becoming a bit unsettled in the evening (which has been the case with all of our kids thus far) she is quite a content baby.

My biggest issue is trying to now juggle DD (3.5 yrs), DS (22 mths) and DD2 - without suffering from 'Mummy guilt', I try to do the same routine with the other kids, but if I'm attending to DD2 I feel the older kids' noses' are being put outta joint slightly. I try to involve them and treat them all equally - its just a bit tough at times as DD2 needs a bit more time .

Looking forward to hearing from other baby buddies soon!!

    Hello lovely ladies!

Leesa - we get to be baby buddies after all! I'm super excited about that! Being mum to 3 would definitely be challenging, especially not being fully mobile yet. I bet you're doing a brilliant job though!

Ezymay - not only are we edd buddies but birth buddies too! Amazing! And also Kody was 3.83kg so extremely close to Hamish's weight.

For those who will be joining us, I gave birth to Kody Noel on 22nd April at 3:46 pm via emergency Caesarean, will post more about the birth when I'm home on the laptop. He was 3.83 kg or 8lb 7oz, length was 49cm and head circ was 37.5cm.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of our belly buddies in here!

It's funny how that worked out isn't it!!! When you had Kody I really didn't think I was going to have Hamish on the same day!!! Very cool!

Leesa it would be so hard with 3! I'm scared about being home with 2, tho can't wait to leave hossy tomorrow.

I'm so teary today!! I hate feeling like this!!

    Yay!! Our group is growing

I must say Jaycee, when I received your text I was so excited that everyone around me was asking me what was wrong as I had happy tears in my eyes ! I am also excited to be your baby buddy .

Ezymay - I think bringing home any baby can be daunting, whether it be number 1, 2, 3 . I also have had a few teary moments, but I think it's because I'm starting to feel like I have a cold coming on, grrr.

Hiya shellybelly!! Looking forward to being your baby buddy too !

AFM - Bree has been a pretty good baby, and I'm pleased to announce that she did the longest um, bottom fluff I have ever heard last night . At least she is well accomplished at getting rid of her wind fairly easily ! And yay, the Easter bunny even bought her a little plush duck.

    Happy Easter everyone!!!

Hello to all you amazing girls! We did it! Yay!

I gave birth to Jacob Lucas on Tuesday the 19th April, 2011. He was 7lb 13oz (3.5kgs) length was 54cm and head circ was 37cm. It was a vaginal delivery, but needed the vacuum as he was a "tight fit" said the Ob, ended up with a second degree tear.

ezymay, I was mega teary yesterday, today has been a bit better. Wish there was an off switch! I wonder, how long does it normaly last?

Jacob is a pretty easy baby I think, but I have nothing to compare him to. Was having major issues with breastfeeding whilst in hossy, which was making me very upset, and resulted in me staying in for an extra day. My flow is really limited (no leakages either) so he gives up easily. But things have started improving really slowly over the last couple of days and he is now feeding on both sides. Minor miracles! But now my nipples are really painful, especially today. I can express ok with the machine on the lowest setting but when Jacob latches on I cry out in pain. Is anyone else having these issues, and if so is there anything I can do?? What are nipple shields? Starting to dread feeding time which is not ideal

Can't wait to see who else joins us!

Shelly, sorry to hear you're having trouble breastfeeding, you're doing a great job! My nipples are a little painful too, I've been using lanisol cream and it seems to help a bit. Nipple shields will definitely help to ease the pain and allow your nipples to heal a little and have a break, they look a bit like a teat that goes over the nipple and areola (sp?) and bub latches on to that. They saved me from giving up bf DS1 so they're definitely worth it and I promise it will get better!

Leesa - I read on fb u went on an outing to the rocking horse, can I just say, one week post c/s I believe u r super woman!! I can't even imagine going anywhere at this stage, I'm sure I'll feel better soon though.

Ezymay and Shelly, hope u and bubs r doing well, I was a little teary yesterday too, was very emotional coming home!

Kody and I are doing well, he's a little piggy and only lost 210g which was great! He seems to feed every 2 to 3 hours and so far is a very content baby, although at night time he doesn't like going in his bassinet so I spent a lot of time dozing in the recliner with him last night. He hardly cries unless you change his nappy or bath him!

Hi to anyone I missed and apologies if I did, I'm on my phone and hard to remember what everyone's written!

Take care everyone and enjoy those newborn snuggles, I sure am!

Hi ladies, I hope you dont mind if I join you all in here?!

I had my first child last week, and would love to be around others with a bub of a similar age.

I joined BB when trying to conceive, but unfortunately due to a busy job, that involves lots of travel, I couldn't keep up, and thought now would be a good time to come back.

Bit of background on DS birth, I was induced at 39 weeks due to high blood pressure, had a relatively quick birth once the drugs etc kicked in, with a 2nd degree tear - despite all of this the overall experience was amazing!
    DS was 6lb4 when born.

We came home from hospital on Saturday, unfortunately i was not able to BF, despite continuous efforts, with Midwives, LC's etc, and the decision was made to FF him. I struggled with this for a couple of days, but have since come to terns with it.

Currently he is sleeping well during the day, with bit of a struggle at night, but I really can't complain.

I never knew you could love something so much so quickly!

Anyway, enough babbling, looking forward to getting to know you all.
