Ergh, I get really itchy too. (I just love swimming, not a teacher or anything) I find that body butter is too thick, and I prefer to use a thinner type body moisturiser. Haven't found a great earth-friendly one yet though.

Wash yourself with sobalene when you get out of the pool. One of the mums in my classes recommended Aveda products for helping with the skin (I can't remember what it was called though).

Yeah that, do you have a price line nearby? They have some lovely moisturizers that are great for frequent swimmers, just ask someone that works there, they can help you out. I can't remember what the one ive got is called but it's from the palmers range

Mum used sorbolene, she said it was the only thing that helped and it's the cheapest and shower as soon as you get out.

I have some special soap specifically made for prolonged chlorine exposure but I cant remember the name of it.

    Def the sorbolene.

Im having huge issues with my scalp being very dry and getting dandruff even though I wash my hair with a swim wash (chlorine specific) and then normal shampoo/conditioner.

You can buy sorbolene cream WITHOUT glycerine from the chemist, often its behind the counter. The glycerine can sometimes dry your skin further

thanks everyone, apparentely you can get a silicone based cream that acts as a barrier so going to try that as well as getting the RPR chlorine hair wash, even if i wash straight away i get itchy, drives me nuts
