    Was your second baby.....

Born bigger than your first baby?

DD was 8pds 1 (3.66kg) and born @ 41wks. and I'm 'guessing' this baby will be around 9pds.... definitely feels bigger than DD was and I've been told it's going to be around the 4kg mark (apparently ). What can I say? I make healthy bubbas

Just interested to hear for those who have had at least two babies, was your 2nd one bigger than your first or the other way around??

Yes, my second child was 400g heavier than my first (sorry, I don't 'do' ounces). And my third was 200g heavier than my second.
All the best for your imminent labour and birth!

    2nd one was a porker

My first was and average 7lb and bit more, my second was close to 4kgs and I am a small person.

A guy at work said to me "wow, how did you do that?"

My third was back to average again.

I wonder if it was the 2kg of icecream with a bottle of that Cadbury chocolate topping a week that made DS2 a biggie

DD1(41wks) was 4.176kg so 9.2pounds I think. Had 3rd degree tears all on the inside. (I was told she was going to be small, yeah right.
    DD2(41+2) was 3.74kg so 8.2pounds I think. Not even a graze.

Almost exactly the same. 7.11 for number 1 and 7.8 for number 2.
But they are different now! Number 2 is going to be the bigger one for sure!

    DS1 was 6lb 7oz - 2.9kg
    DS2 was 8lb exact - 3.6kg

Interestingly I had gestational diabetes with DS1 and not DS2.

ETA I'm the firstborn and was 9lb 10oz, and my sister was only 8lb.

    Mine went like this:
DS - 8 pound 2.5 (but was born at 39 weeks)
    Dd1 - 8 pound 11.5 (42 weeks)
    Dd2 - 8 pound 10 (41+5)
    dd3- 7 pound 12 (41+4)

Dd2 had the bigger head but easier to push out than her little sister. Dd1 was my longest baby which probably makes up for the weight difference.

    Good luck!!!
