Fish from the Fish & Chip Shop

...so what do you normally get from the fish and chip shop - just the usual Flake - or do you have something else you prefer that's yummy?

Fried flake or flat head tails...strange fact fried fish is the better option if you dont eat the batter...as its steamed. Lol.

Ohh and a deepfried marsbar. Nomnomnom.

Our fish and chip shop doesn't do flake! Their standard is cod, but it's mushy and bland so DH and I always go for the sweetlip.

Our local has a pack called the lunch pack....Flake (I have mine fried), scallop, dim sim, potatoe cake and chips. I have this for dinner as well
Sometimes I will have a calamari pack. Depends on my fancy at the time.
Another one does a beautiful Hawiian burger with a proper pattie...Yum!!

I get a hot dog in batter, 2 potato cakes and chips. If I'm being really naughty I get a banana fritter too :-)

Grilled snapper. I used to eat flake years ago but now I can't bring myself to eat endangered shark (showing my scuba diving colours here!). Also the mercury is higher in big fish so I don't think flake is the healthiest choice - perhaps not the key consideration with takeaway meals
