    Guten tag! (Morgen now maybe...?)
Glad Millie is travelling well - how's the sleep with all that daylight? It's so weird when it's late and still light.

    Yummy steak!

    Nearly six months Kaz!

We still have a couple of weeks till DD gets her needles. Such fun. She's rolling around a bit, but not that mobile yet. Still not eating. And not sleeping (sleeping bag has made no difference ). And day sleeps have also gone to utter crap again. I'm so tired.
She likes sitting in her high chair and smooshing things into the tray

Babies- it's true you can't always plan these things. We'll plan when we go back to IVF, but not preventing otherwise. No af here and din't get it back till 16.5 months with DS, and we're infertile anyway so I figure contraception is a waste of money. If the miracle happened we'd be happy of course, but I'd still prefer a larger age gap. 3 seems pretty good for us. But I guess whatever you do seems good once you sort it out, if that makes sense.

Ah tricky Trish nearly ate my message

Ooooh new thread!!! Nearly lost my post too!!

EJ - How's Harper feeling?? I hope you're getting more rest! Hehe, 'mummys magic milk' I like to take it as a compliment sometimes too

MadB - Sorry to hear the sleeping bag didnt' work out! Far out, you must be exhausted....how much sleep are you actually getting at night? is it that she's hungry or is it a settling issue? I'm hoping one of these days you get some really good stretches, you've sure earnt them!! How do you go looking after DS when you are so tired? I guess you have no choice but to just cope...?

Cathie - I for one can completely understand that you get busy and can't do personals!! I get busy with just Jacob!! Good luck with the needles on Monday.

Crumpet - Jacob was a little off for about two days after his needles...How about Summah? Sounds like she was a very brave girl!! Great news on the carpet too! It looks great!! Bet you feel so much fresher..

Audax - Sounds like Eleanor was an absolute star with her needles. I had a jarmie day too the next day....oh my god. Horrible day. Thankfully I had my mum here, he wouldn't let me out of his sight. And the sleep?! far out, he had nothing over ten/fifteen mins all day. Hope Eleanor is feeling better now.

Kaz - Commando crawling - how cute!! That's how my nephew started out, it's so funny to watch. Congrats on still BF'ing...you're doing an awesome job.

Georgi - Sounds like everything is going well your way, Eden is so cute, i loved the video with the steak, what a crack up!

PP - Wonderful to hear from you! So glad to hear everything is going so well, Millie is a champ! Not even a flight overseas can faze her, unreal!! Hope you're having fun and look forward to hearing more about your travels when you get the time. Enjoy!!

AFU - All good here, getting back on track now since the needles....had a few bad days!! I think his top teeth are moving now, hopefully they don't make an appearance for a while yet though!! Mum went home yesterday but DH is on days off now until Tuesday night which is nice!

Hope you're all well! Sweet dreams to you all! xo

Jules - wow on top teeth!!!!

MadB - arghhhh I hope you're managing some rest, that your DH is able to take some of the load for you

AFU - Will is still biting me, I made him cry before when I screamed in pain but he's still got some bfing poos, so I'm happy with that. Poor DH got the taste of food first poos!!! poor DH, I think he's still recovering from that.

PP glad to hear the traveling is going well. How lucky you guys are and even more so Millie to be traveling the world at such a young age. Enjoy yourselves xo

MadB i hope DD settles for you soon, you must be exhausted.

Jules good to hear that Jacob has settled after his immus. Enjoy having DH home.

Kaz oh i hope Will doesn't do that to you again. Charlie started biting me a little bit after falling pregnant with Harper, that was what made me wean him. He did it one too many times. The pain :

Georgi glad you are enjoying your little man, he really does look like a sweetie.

Glad the little ones are doing ok after their needles Audax and Crumpet.

Cathie the kids are ok here, how are yours going? I hope healthy and well.

To all the other lovely ladies i hope you and your bubbas are well, i'm keeping it short as i have to go have bath and i need bed.

Harper is great, the reflux seems to be under control again. She hasn't really been too fussed about her needles and is her normal little self. Me on the other hand, i feel like i've gone backwards all over again. This week just gone i was getting itchy all over again and was trying so hard not to go to the drs but i had to. He's given me 2 more lots of antibiotics as the bb area is still infected and he has told me to go back to the dermatologist. I'm so sick of myself. I've just bought myself some zinc tablets which are supposed to be good for skin. I hope it does something because the dermatitis on my hands is really quite bad at the moment also and i'm in pain typing.

So anyway sorry about the whinge once again. I'm so tired and sick of having such uncomfortable bb's, i just want to be normal again.

    Happy Saturday night ladies

Damn EJ! That's terrible. Hope you can get it sorted quickly. Just when you thought it was getting better.

Biting hurts! DD does it when she's done with a side Just a little nip though, not so bad. DS went through a proper 'biting' phase at around 12 months when he really chomped down with 6 teeth. The last time he did it he drew blood. I told him that's it, you're notgetting any more milk today and he didn't, not till bedtime. Never did it again though.

If I'm really lucky I get some 2=hour stretches at night. She basically feeds every 2 hours or so, but often wakes more frequently. Sometimes she just puts herself back to sleep, or might need a few pats, but then sometimes she just stays awake for 2-3 hours. Very happy, not upset at all. She's tired, but fine otherwise. I'm knackered. DH helps as much as he can. She really doesn't like to settle for anyoen else though adn can't go long during the day without me. I get a little sleep in on the weekends. If she had decent, reliable day sleeps I could nap, but never mind.
DS is watchign a lot of tv.

Ouch EJ, I'm sure you're trying everything to fix it ... there is a cream a few friends of mine swear by, MooGoo Eczema & Psoriasis Balm - and also the MSN Soothing Cream. But I'm also sure that you're sick of people suggesting things.

MadB - I know what you mean, DS watches way too much too

Just had a crying bub who needed a burp, but preceeded with a squidgy slurpy kiss.

MadB i really wish Harper would sleep better. She's happy and we both survive on what we're getting but i just know it could be better. Majority of the time night is pretty good but this week that's even been a bit on the off side. But it'll bet better when the girls decide right!?!

Kaz i have both the creams you mentioned but am a little cautious on putting random things on the bb because of Harper. I might try it though, right after a feed shouldn't effect her in any way you'd think.

Time to go have a bath, i'm itching like crazy.

MooGoo should be fine for the little ones I think EJ. Enjoy your bath!

I use moogoo cause it is all natural and hasn't upset pip's tum at all, he once got into a tub of moogoo and spread it over his entire body & cot and ate some too ... and entire new tub, finished in one day ... *sighs*

well Will's been grumply all day, we've just gotten him out of bed after his whinging for near 90mins.

hope eveyrone gets some good sleep - this week i'm going to try being in bed after will's 2nd feed for the night.

lol, I'm so clever. I didn't even realise we'd started a new thread.
I'm exhausted!! Had SIL and her partner over for the weekend so I couldn't really go to bed at 9pm with guests here. So a few late nights have left me wrecked. I'm too old for late nights!!
Hannah was a complete angel over the weekend. I just love seeing her personality come out more and more. She's so funny. She loves it if you pretend to cough at her.
Got injections tomorrow!! Oh joy!! And off to look at fridges, as the fridge we've got at the moment is 100 years old, using loads of energy, and is the landlords and they want it back now - after 4 1/2 years. Grrr.

Hannah's tooth is sooo close to the surface. I just want the little bugger to come through so she stops sooking so much.
She's still desperately trying to roll onto her stomach and screaming because she can't do it. Its so frustrating for her.

Oh! And she's finally woken up to the idea of food. She can't get enough. Opening her mouth, and swallowing, no spitting out. She's getting so good.

    Ahh, she's awake. .... ...

    all is ok-ish here....

summah didnt have any reactions to her neddles thank god so that was nice.

she has decided to become super fussy with anything and everything at the moment its a constant fight...
if its not changing her nappy ,its trying to get her to drink her bottle, if its not the bottle its spittting food everywhere, if its not that its wiping her face.....

far out she is doing my head in atm! hopfully this is just some phase they go through

Thanks for the MooGoo confidence girls, i thought it 'should' have been ok but i just wasn't confident in assuming. Love that stuff though, i put the MSM on Harper's rosie cheeks and i use the full cream on my face. Could be time to invest in the anti-wrinkle though

Oh no Kaz that stuff is way to precious to have a little one use as body paint. It'll only happen once

Good to hear you're all well Cathie and i hope Lily enjoys her disco. Such a cute little lady!!

Teeth are such nasty teasing little beings aren't they Charlotte??!! They should just apear and be done with themselves, they cause way too much disruption. Good to hear that she is ready to enjoy her food. Hope all goes well with the needles.

Crumpet hope Summah's little difficult stage doens't last too long. Maybe no ill reactions to the needles as such but maybe they have made her a little grumpy!?

We're all good here, the boys are in daycare and the day is flying by. I have dinner in the slow cooker and Harper is actually sleeping longer than 1hr!!!! Her nights are so average right now though, i think it was close to every 3 hours last night.

MadB with Miri's waking do you feed her each time? I know they say to not try encourage settling without the feed until they are 8ish months but when they wake this often surely they don't need a feed every time!?!? I haven't attempted it yet... I think Harper just likes being in bed with us

She is such a vocal little lady, she loves to chat to us and the boys. Still blows raspberries all the time also. DH and i were saying we can't remember the boys being so chatty at such a young age. It's lovely though.

So i think that's it for now ladies. It's freezing here today and sooooo windy. Hope it's a great week all xoxo

EJ - I'm sure Lily will enjoy her disco on friday she won't stop talking about it I'm sure she could talk under water.

Charlie is also a little chatter box, he talks to everyone and he giggles all the time.

Miri did some 3-hr stretches last night! That was so nice
She doesn't usually feed every wake up, no. she'd explode if she did that! If she wants to feed, she lets me know, otherwise she just grizzles and goes back to sleep. She just seems to have issues staying asleep Having said that, she does feed more overnight than she strictly needs to, but she hardly feeds at all during the day sometimes She will not feed at all if we're out.

Crumpet, she might be feeling unwell. That sort of grumpy, unsettledness often precedes a runny nose or some other illness.

OOO disco! I remember those. Must be about time they were back in fashion

Kaz! That's so awful! I bet his skin was really lovely though I remember DS rubbing nappy cream all over himself and his toy cat. Didn't do it again after I had to put Nut in the washing machine! Poor boy.

Lol at being too old charlotte. I'm sure you're the youngest one here (barring the babies obviously) It's nearly my bedtime now....

    Hi again all,

I really should avoid posting about Millie being good, because I jinx myself. 6 hour train ride today. Millie chucked a Tanty To End All Tanties. Yes, capital letters. Actually she did it about 3 times. God, it was awful. DH had never witnessed her tanties so he was freaking out. All I can say is, thank God we booked a parent compartment and we had it to ourselves (although people kept wandering past to gawp... no curtains!!!!!). Also, thank God for the BabyBjorn *kisses the inventor's feet*

So we're in Salzburg now, and yes EJ, we are very very lucky to be travelling (challenges notwithstanding). Millie is in her cot and DH and I have just had a picnic on the floor of our hotel room. Looking forward to seeing the sights tomorrow and for the next few days. Hoping Millie will be in a better mood!

I read on the previous thread about next bubs - yup, we're planning on trying for #2 later this year. We're hoping that we'll be as fortunate again to fall quickly, but if not then so be it. I just think if I ever stop changing nappies I won't want to start again

EJ I used MooGoo when I was bf and it helped a lot, and no probs for Millie at all. I hope it improves soon for you

MadB, Millie's sleep has been a bit off with the long days, also an unfamiliar bed. SHe's pretty good in the KinderKot but as we can't tuck her in (she looks like an ad for SIDS awareness when she's in bed at home) she does quite a bit of circle work and kicks the sides of the tent... it looks funny but at 3am when you're very tired it's not so cute!

    Kaz, congrats on 6 months - you're a legend!

Quick question: how do you tell if a tooth is coming through? I know about the white dot thing, but Millie has this one spot in a very odd place for a first tooth... doesn't feel too different from the rest of her mouth though.

Hello to everyone, DH wants the laptop so my time is up...
