    Guten tag! (Morgen now maybe...?)
Glad Millie is travelling well - how's the sleep with all that daylight? It's so weird when it's late and still light.

    Yummy steak!

    Nearly six months Kaz!

We still have a couple of weeks till DD gets her needles. Such fun. She's rolling around a bit, but not that mobile yet. Still not eating. And not sleeping (sleeping bag has made no difference ). And day sleeps have also gone to utter crap again. I'm so tired.
She likes sitting in her high chair and smooshing things into the tray

Babies- it's true you can't always plan these things. We'll plan when we go back to IVF, but not preventing otherwise. No af here and din't get it back till 16.5 months with DS, and we're infertile anyway so I figure contraception is a waste of money. If the miracle happened we'd be happy of course, but I'd still prefer a larger age gap. 3 seems pretty good for us. But I guess whatever you do seems good once you sort it out, if that makes sense.

Ah tricky Trish nearly ate my message

Ooooh new thread!!! Nearly lost my post too!!

EJ - How's Harper feeling?? I hope you're getting more rest! Hehe, 'mummys magic milk' I like to take it as a compliment sometimes too

MadB - Sorry to hear the sleeping bag didnt' work out! Far out, you must be exhausted....how much sleep are you actually getting at night? is it that she's hungry or is it a settling issue? I'm hoping one of these days you get some really good stretches, you've sure earnt them!! How do you go looking after DS when you are so tired? I guess you have no choice but to just cope...?

Cathie - I for one can completely understand that you get busy and can't do personals!! I get busy with just Jacob!! Good luck with the needles on Monday.

Crumpet - Jacob was a little off for about two days after his needles...How about Summah? Sounds like she was a very brave girl!! Great news on the carpet too! It looks great!! Bet you feel so much fresher..

Audax - Sounds like Eleanor was an absolute star with her needles. I had a jarmie day too the next day....oh my god. Horrible day. Thankfully I had my mum here, he wouldn't let me out of his sight. And the sleep?! far out, he had nothing over ten/fifteen mins all day. Hope Eleanor is feeling better now.

Kaz - Commando crawling - how cute!! That's how my nephew started out, it's so funny to watch. Congrats on still BF'ing...you're doing an awesome job.

Georgi - Sounds like everything is going well your way, Eden is so cute, i loved the video with the steak, what a crack up!

PP - Wonderful to hear from you! So glad to hear everything is going so well, Millie is a champ! Not even a flight overseas can faze her, unreal!! Hope you're having fun and look forward to hearing more about your travels when you get the time. Enjoy!!

AFU - All good here, getting back on track now since the needles....had a few bad days!! I think his top teeth are moving now, hopefully they don't make an appearance for a while yet though!! Mum went home yesterday but DH is on days off now until Tuesday night which is nice!

Hope you're all well! Sweet dreams to you all! xo

Jules - wow on top teeth!!!!

MadB - arghhhh I hope you're managing some rest, that your DH is able to take some of the load for you

AFU - Will is still biting me, I made him cry before when I screamed in pain but he's still got some bfing poos, so I'm happy with that. Poor DH got the taste of food first poos!!! poor DH, I think he's still recovering from that.

PP glad to hear the traveling is going well. How lucky you guys are and even more so Millie to be traveling the world at such a young age. Enjoy yourselves xo

MadB i hope DD settles for you soon, you must be exhausted.

Jules good to hear that Jacob has settled after his immus. Enjoy having DH home.

Kaz oh i hope Will doesn't do that to you again. Charlie started biting me a little bit after falling pregnant with Harper, that was what made me wean him. He did it one too many times. The pain :

Georgi glad you are enjoying your little man, he really does look like a sweetie.

Glad the little ones are doing ok after their needles Audax and Crumpet.

Cathie the kids are ok here, how are yours going? I hope healthy and well.

To all the other lovely ladies i hope you and your bubbas are well, i'm keeping it short as i have to go have bath and i need bed.

Harper is great, the reflux seems to be under control again. She hasn't really been too fussed about her needles and is her normal little self. Me on the other hand, i feel like i've gone backwards all over again. This week just gone i was getting itchy all over again and was trying so hard not to go to the drs but i had to. He's given me 2 more lots of antibiotics as the bb area is still infected and he has told me to go back to the dermatologist. I'm so sick of myself. I've just bought myself some zinc tablets which are supposed to be good for skin. I hope it does something because the dermatitis on my hands is really quite bad at the moment also and i'm in pain typing.

So anyway sorry about the whinge once again. I'm so tired and sick of having such uncomfortable bb's, i just want to be normal again.

    Happy Saturday night ladies

Damn EJ! That's terrible. Hope you can get it sorted quickly. Just when you thought it was getting better.

Biting hurts! DD does it when she's done with a side Just a little nip though, not so bad. DS went through a proper 'biting' phase at around 12 months when he really chomped down with 6 teeth. The last time he did it he drew blood. I told him that's it, you're notgetting any more milk today and he didn't, not till bedtime. Never did it again though.

If I'm really lucky I get some 2=hour stretches at night. She basically feeds every 2 hours or so, but often wakes more frequently. Sometimes she just puts herself back to sleep, or might need a few pats, but then sometimes she just stays awake for 2-3 hours. Very happy, not upset at all. She's tired, but fine otherwise. I'm knackered. DH helps as much as he can. She really doesn't like to settle for anyoen else though adn can't go long during the day without me. I get a little sleep in on the weekends. If she had decent, reliable day sleeps I could nap, but never mind.
DS is watchign a lot of tv.

DD drew blood feeding today. I think it's a Wonder Week, it's like she is trying to climb inside the boob at every feed, clawing and pinching, and squirming. DH ended up putting a sock on her hand late this afternoon, and that helped a lot.

And we've passed the stage where she will sit in the Ergo for an entire grocery shop. She went from Ergo on back to trolley, to Ergo on front, to feeding in the Ergo, back to sitting in the Ergo but holding a can of deodorant until she threw it and it smashed and finally I bought her one of those teething toys in a feeble attempt to purchase a bit of sanity. It worked.

Hope the germs don't hand around too long Crumpet, the just don't seem to want to go away from our house. The kids are really pretty fine in themselves but coughs and noeses are a bit persistant.

I'm actually really happy with how Harper is going Crumpet, at first there were a few signs that made me wonder how well we'd go but she's been great. She hasn't had a grumpy feed of attachging and detaching for quite a few days and if she seems to be burping or swallowing a little it's barely bothering her. Yay!!!

Jules i gave up and tried to relax a little with Harper but every once in a while i have another freak out about the lack of... Like you said the main thing is they're happy

Today i've had that tingling feeling back in the bb's , the itch and there's a few little red spots that have returned I'm just hoping it's nothing to be worried about

Off to have a shower and cut out some squares for another quilt, have a great weekend ladies xo

We're just hanging in there... Miri actually managed a 6-hour stretch the other night! DS helped himself to milk, butter, pepper and a saucepan and made 'eggs' this morning. thank goodness he couldnt' reach the eggs

    Hey girls,

I've been quite slack lately, things have been hectic to say the least..

MadB - I'm toying with the idea of getting an ergo, DH is a bit reluctant cause I have a close carrier and one of those ridiculous sling things that Jacob just HATED from the beginning. a six hour stretch!!! go miri go!! Reward that hard working mumma of yours.. it's so nice to hear the 'relaxed' approach really pays off eventually. Gives me hope hope you've had some better days..

Audax - Hahahahaha, sorry for trying to make you choose, I knew you were a bit of an expert that's all!! Ouch on the biting!!! I've been bitten but thankfully no blood yet!!! Jacob is a bit the same during his feeds, it's strange. hope you had a better day today.

PP - Hows your wrist?? I hope you're feeling better. Hope work and daycare are going well, sounds like you're doing really well, I'm so glad it's working out.

EJ - I'm SO glad to hear Harper is going so well without the zantac...how good is it to not have to give it to them two/three times a day!! I hated doing it. As I said, BF's are a bit all over the place here, I just feed him when he's hungry basically... and nights are different all the time, his biggest stretch is often his first one (typical...the one where I have to be up to clean up, shower etc...) I hear you about trying to relax about their sleep, it gets to me at times too. You're doing great. Hope the bb's don't flare up again

Crumpet - Hope you and your DH start feeling better soon!

We're doing ok here. Jacob is majorly on the move now, crawls to everything he can find on the floor, remotes, phones, cords, you name it.. (will bypass the toys mind you!) I spend most my day lifting everything up out of his reach He's a little clingy lately, on and off... some days he won't let me leave the room, he just cries and cries.... Sleep is just one of those things at the moment, I really don't care to be honest, he's not sleeping in his cot very much, I've been sleeping in the spare bed with him. He sleeps better which means I can sleep better... the way I see it, they're only young for such a short amount of time and at least I can look back on my time with him and cherish all the extra time we spent together besides, I do love his little body sleeping beside me, reminds me how truly blessed I am! All in all, we're doing ok here. Hope everyone else is well. xox

MadB - Exactly!!! That's what I figure. It's about him now..not me when I decided to have a baby I decided I was ok with taking the backseat for a while.

Well...bit excited this morning!!! Jacob slept from 7.40pm till 2.40am!! I'm so angry at my dog and the neighbors dog though, they barked ALL night. The main thing is Jacob slept through it but I was up a lot. Can't win can I?? doesn't change the fact that I'm proud of my little mans efforts!!

6 hours is so good MadB!! Woo hoo for Miri Love the independance of your little man

Glad you had a much better day Audax

Jules how would you say Jacob is off the zantac? Yes i love not giving her zantac anymore, i still find myself feeling like i'm forgetting something but it's great!!!! Our first sleep for the night is often the longest also and i often don't go to bed until after that feed. I've been sewing again. Yay for having a little one on the move, it'll really keep you on your toes now but it's so great that he can really explore his surroundings

Harper is great, i had my little sleep freak out (i've done it before haven't i?? ) Thanks so much for listening and reassuring me. I've actually been wrapping her again (rather than the sleeping bag) and the last few nights she's only woken 3 times (the last one being at 6am when i can still get her back to sleep for a little bit). Might continue with that for a little bit and see how we go. She's now able to sit quite strongly without support but after a bit she'll fall and she's commando crawling now, lots of knees and elbows.

Better go give her some lunch. Enjoy your weekend ladies
