How much do you love your carrier?

Omg, bought a Close Carrier, and I have my life back again I love it! DD can happily sleep away while I do washing, get food ready, put clothes away...it's the best! DD fits in so well, it's comfy and looks awesome. What carrier do you have, and why do you love it?

PZ I have an ergo and I love it for all the same reasons
I used it from as soon as we were out of hospy, it was my life saver. Sometimes the only way to get things done was to have dd in it.
I love it, use it more than my pram. It's light, comfy & so easy to put on!

LOVE mine too. Have DD2 snoozing in it right now. I always give her a sleep in it at the same time DD1 has a nap because she will sleep for longer and then I get maximum time-out LOL.

I had a HAB for both girls when they were small and now have DD2 in an ergo, love them both!

Um, I don't love mine. Or better yet, Annabelle doesn't. It's a Peanut Shell one, and she looks comfy, I feel super comfy - she's in exactly the same position as when I'm holding her, but she'll cry unless I am actually holding her which defeats the whole purpose of the sling! Hilarious really, she'll cry until I put my arms around her, then she's all happy. As soon as I let the sling take her weight, she's cranky again lol.

Might just be the type of carrier though. I've also got a Combi Carrier - she doesn't like it in infant mode (lying down) but I tried it with her upright and facing me and she loved it - just a little too young for that yet!

I have a close carrier - absolutely love it! It's so comfy and DD sleeps so well in it. Need to find another carrier soon though, as DD is going to start getting a bit heavy for the close carrier soon.

I have 8. I love them all, each in their own special way.

If I had to pick one favourite..... probably the mei tai, a godsend in the Brissie summer, and SOOOO comfy.

But I remember the Close carrier raptures PZ. Sanity saver.

I had a Peanut Shell with DS1 which was great while he was small but it put too much strain on one shoulder when he got heavier. I also used a Baby Bjorn which was ok but I didn't have the one with lumbar support.

This time around I have an Ergo Carrier and it is fantastic. In fact, my DS2 is asleep in it right now. He has reflux but he'll sleep great in the Ergo. I would 100% recommend it to anyone. I've only had it for about 6 weeks but it's already worth it! He can be in it for a couple of hours and I still don't get a sore back (he's about 6.5kg at the moment).
