    I turn into a psyco

I have always gotton a bit moody before AF is due but lately I literally turn into a crazy psyco woman. I lash out at DH and the kids and it's just not fair on them. Is there anything that could help me hormonally before my family need to move out? TIA.

No advice, but my mum (47) is going through the same thing and has for a few years now. It was murder when I lived there.
It's probably got to do with 'the change of life', maybe....

Maybe try talking to your GP? Or have lots of cups of tea?

Sorry I couldn't help but wanted to give you a

a friend was on Levlan, and every single month, three days before AF she would break up with her DP over the most ridiculous of things ... I'm talking yelling and screaming, throwing engagement rings and cups, packing bags and leaving ...

and 1-3 days later, sanity would be restored ...

after about 8 months, she realised the link to her pill, and after trying to "contain" herself the next few months (unsuccessfully) she just ended up going back to her Dr, and getting a different pill which was based on a different hormone ...

    solved!

but it took a while, and I think she ended up trying 3 different pills, to find one which didn't turn her into a batpoo nutsoid killer lady.

Zinc, magnesium and b vitamins are all supposed to help.

I am prone to hormonal psycho blow ups too! As a child my mum was the same...

Do you do exercise? I find exercise helps.

Thanks girls, I'm not on the pill which is why I was thinking I may need a hormone supplement or something. I'll check out those vitamins, thanks Arcadia. Charlotte, change of life is what I was thinking too, I'll probably make an appointment and talk to my GP. I've got to do something because it's really bad, I turn into a really scary person.

Acupuncture has helped me balance my hormones. A naturopath may also help. I'm a fan of tackling thing naturally first. I know my Mum had a lot of problems with the change and HRT. If you go to the GP, get your Vit D levels checked as well as zinc etc.
If you google PMS and apple cider vinegar, you'll find a home remedy. No idea how effective it is.

That's exactly what happened to me when I was on Levlan. I was a mad-woman. I kept packing my bags and then I'd be fine. I'm off it now and I feel heaps better.
