Help - quick answer needed please :-)

Hi - rushing out the door this morning I must have put the SC on high instead of low, so the chicken pumpkin lentil curry has been cooking for 8 hours on high instead of low

DH reckons it still tastes fine - is there any reason we couldn't eat it? Could it make us sick?

Any help would be great as it's dinner time soon!

It might be a big soggy and the chicken might be a tad stringy but it should be safe to eat.

No reason not to eat, as long as it tastes ok. The only reason not to eat it would be if the chicken was under cooked

Undercooked it ain't I think it's gone past the stringy stage and onto the big bowl of mush stage. Lucky neither DH or DD are too picky!

    Thanks!

Couldn't bring myself to eat/serve it! It was a colour I've never seen it go before......

Iron gut DH is excited that he now has a heap of frozen curry lunches though!
