Does anyone have any age appropriate (2.5 yr old) book suggestions, that I can read to Isaac about the real story of Saint Nicholas? I've never been keep on the idea of "Santa" and thought maybe this would be a good compromise.
We do St Nick too so keen for an ideas. Amazon have some but nothing really hits the spot for young 1s
Someone must have SOMETHING?
Even if it's a book for an older kids that I can adjust a bit?

Just googled and found one called 'The Legend of St. Nicholas: A Story of Christmas Giving'
Thanks Heaven. That's kind of what I'm looking for, but not religious.
Don't want much do I? lol.
his is the problem I have found with St nick, its all about a saint, and while I have no issues with this- I was under the impression that he started out a toy maker or carpenter- I am wanting a story about a regular guy who did some good stuff
I don't know if you'll be able to find anything, but you could try looking for an online shop or something for Father Christmas/Time .... I believe this was the pagan figure for the Winter SolsticeThe story of St Nick is a lovely one but he was a devoted Christian so you won't be able to escape that side of things.
If you do happen to find something PLEASE let me know
That's what I was afraid of...
I'l call around some book shops and ask at the library. I'll let you know how I go.![]()
