the best present EVER!

Today is my birthday!

I had to work out how old I am this morning. I couldn't work out if I was 30 =going on 31 or 31 going on 32 turns out I'm 33 (after counting on my fingers..)

Anyway, last night before I went to bed I thought it would be soo lovely to have a sleep in in the morning and it would be even better if BOTH the girls were in the bed with me and DH in the morning. Usually DH goes and sleeps with DD1 in the spare room bed when she wakes at 5am and newborn DD2 and I sleep in the main bed. I havn't been able to cuddle up to DD1 for a couple of months and I really miss it.

So this morning, I wake up and look at the clock and it is 730am!! I got my sleep in Then I realise DH is still in bed with me We have a cuddle () and then I get DD2 inbed with me for a breastfed. Not long after my DD1 wakes, so DH goes and get her and brings her into the bed with me. So there we lay, my beautiful family, my darling girls and you know- it was bliss. This is the best present EVER!!!! My heart was bursting!

aving lost a baby I KNOW how lucky I am to have such precious gifts. DH and I are thankful to have such treasures in our life. They truly are the best gifts.

Anyway, I just had to share because I know many of you feel the same way about your babes.
