Great FS not so great nurses

    Hi all

I am currently back at the fertility clinic where I fell pregnant with my DD (ivf 2009). Had nothing but praise for all the staff at the time. Unfortunately this time round the nurses have been unpleasant, unprofessional and not very empathetic at all. My dilemma is that I have a great relationship with my FS but not so great with the nurses! I'm so frustrated with them that I'm considering to move to another clinic but I really do not want to loose my FS!

Has anyone gone through anything similar?? Feedback would be great!!!

    Xo

    I feel EXACTLY this way.

Actually felt sort if that way first time around, but it never really came to a head and we were lucky enough to not have too much contact, most of our time was waiting around and then once they got me on FSH injections I was lucky enough to conceive first go. This time it's been 6 cycles so far and their attitude is upsetting me much more. They are professional, but cold, unfriendly, and not much empathy. (Not all of them, there are maybe 2 nice ones out of 7/8). I am starting to want to change clinics but know that this is not in my best interests in getting pregnant, and am happy with my FS, so am just putting up with it and hoping that soon I won't have to continue! I have given some feedback to the managers and hope that they will take it seriously.

It's a very hard process and I feel a little friendliness and support would go a long way in this area! makes it that much harder.

Good luck, hope you get BFP soon

i haven't had this exact experience, but I wondered whether the service has another office you can have your scans etc at?? I am with MIVF and while the nurses in the city have always been lovely, the nurse at one of the suburban clinic's where visit for most of my scans and meds etc is absolutely gorgeous, and I feel so well supported and don't mind seeing her however many times I need to!!

So while I need to go to the city or ET, and the day hospital round the corner for EPU I can do a lot of stuff at the local clinic.

    Do you have that option??
