Boy and toilet training... books? advice?

Part of the reason I choose cloth was to try my best to tt ds early.

But as successful as I was with dd, I find even the very thought of tt terrifies me.

So mummy's with little men, please do tell.. how did you go about it?

    Thanks heaps. ; )

When my GS was ready to toilet train I found a book in Kmart.

It's a childrens book and is just for boys and has a flush button. There is one also for girls. I cannot remember the name of the book as it at their house. It was a title like Toilet training for boys.

    hi.
i tt'd ds wees and poos daytime when he was 2 year and 7 months. it took him about 3-4 months (longer than dd - who we did the 3 day potty training method).
but was still waking with mega huge wet nappies in the morning so didnt push the night time.

we tt him to sit on the toliet. he can learn to aim later i think. and we used bamboo training pants .

the night of his 3 rd birthday. it had a few mornings with dry nappies so we tol dhim he was a big boy and no nappies at night. a few accidents but was pretty good. just no milk after 5pm and wee if he woke in the night.

i didnt do anything different with either of my 2 (boy or girl) x and to be honest i wasnt ready to tt him as i had only really just gotten over tt dd! but he wanted it .
so i went with the flow x
