    Its hurts!

I'm day 3 into my second period since Reid's birth.

    It hurts.

Its like early labour. Strong uterine contractions right down low.

I hate not being able to understand my body. I'm usually really in touch with my body and understand whats happening etc.

At the moment I have no idea.

Even though I'm on CD3, I'm only just starting to bleed red blood today. For the last 2 days and 2 days before, I've been having these strong uterine contractions and the last 2 days have only been gunky brown discharge.

I dont remember it being like this after I had the girls.

I just wish my body would get back to normal.

that sounds like my AF. I just had a 62 day cycle and now that I've actually been through labour, I can say that my cramps are like early labour for me. All I can suggest is painkillers and heat packs

Yup my first and even second AF was exactly like that after having DD.

I'm having a stabby AF as well. I found they get worse, then better and every now and again, another biatch of an AF comes along, just to show who's boss.

    I nap and eat chocolate.

I hope you're feeling ok soon. Getting AF when you're supposed to be pregnant hurts on all levels

Well it seems all has revealed itself tonight.

I passed a decent sized piece of tissue tonight. I assume its placenta.

Now.... my last period was extremely heavy with strong uterine contractions. Heavy enough for me to need to go to the ED.

I was sent away and had an u/s down and apprently there were no "products of conception" left behind. Well they got it wrong.

I still feel like something else is up. I dont feel like thats all there is in there.

I'm back to the hospital tomorrow for a debrief and to get the results on Reids autopsy so I have kept the tissue and will let them know tomorrow.

I really hope I dont need a d&c...considering it is 10 weeks since Reid was born.

I am also extremely suprised how I havent contraction a serious uterine infection. Some one must be watching out for me.

I am sending you some strength for today. I hope last night was the end of it but follow your instinct and if you feel like there is something more going on, get it looked at.

Have you had any infection symptoms at all? Tenderness, being very hot, sweaty, cold and shaky etc? About 8 weeks after a d&c I found out I had PID. Really awful, I hope you're fine in that regard.

Good luck for the hospital debrief, I'll be thinking of you.
