food/s you just can't handle anymore

What can't you eat that you use to love. Be it for any reason, morning sickness, food poisening, change in food preferences.

I can't eat omlettes anymore. I use to eat them all the time and loved them. After eating one I made about 6 years ago now I was sick about 30 minutes after eating it and ever since I can not even stand the smell. I can eat eggs any other way though. DH loves spaghetti and olive omlettes and it is the only thing he can cook for himself and I hate it when he does.

I just watched Alive and cooking and he made 5 different omelettes and I wanted to try every single one and yet when I actually think of putting it in my mouth I almost gag. I miss omlettes

I've developed food intolerances (or I always had them and didn't react as badly). I can't have wine, normal bread, pastries (I'd kill for a croissant), or any food with gluten. I'm currently not allowed beef, nuts, citrus and a couple of others.

I once ordered a focaccia with a bunch of stuff including artichokes. I was reading a gruesome novel at the time, whilst I was eating. So reading about body parts made me feel sick and I couldn't finish what I was eating. I've never been able to eat artichokes since.

I also don't eat sweetened condensed milk out of a can anymore. Ewww!

Milk chocolate. Too sweet, too gooey and the blocks they sell in the supermarket are kind of gritty too.

Brown onions make me double up in pain this pregnancy which is really annoying because they're in stacks of recipes. Cadbury chocolate is currently giving me bad heartburn.

It took me years to be able to eat chicken again after suspected food poisoning from a chinese take away at a shopping centre, and i still don't think I could get a chicken dish from one of those places. That was probably about eight years ago. I am stl not a huge fan of chicken, aside from chicken parmas. Go figure.

Still can't eat gingernut biscuits after my first pg. Ate them to try and alleviate ms, to no avail.

anything ginger flavoured after HG last pg, eggs since forever and no apparent reason, tho i can eat it in things like cakes and i can eat pavlova but anything that tastes likes eggs is out. chicken for no apparent reason either tho occasionally i crave a chicken parmi or bbq chook. i struggle to eat risoles cos DH went thru a stage where he ate them everyday for lunch for over 4mths. oh and kangaroo meat unless im not there when its cooked, it smells too much like dog food meat when its cooking.

Macca's cheeseburgers. I had massive cravings for them when of with DD, but after one made me throw up I can't even think about eating one without feeling queasy..probably better for my health though

Still not a fan of lamb chops (unless they are marinated ones from our local butcher which are just the best), when pg the smell of cooking lamb was like the smell of wet wool and made me feel sick.

I've also never eaten a prawn after I was sick when I was a kid. I'd had a couple with dinner, it probably wasn't the prawns that made me sick because everyone else was fine, but I haven't been game enough to eat them since. I even pick them out of the fried rice of Chinese takeaway! Lol

Custard - I lived on it when my wisdom teeth were taken out aged 14. Haven't touched it since.

Chicken Sweet Corn soup - ate while pregnant, and brought it back up. Not cool.

I can't eat anything at any mexican restaurant anymore, got food poisoning at a certain mexican restaurant starting with "M" a few years back and feel sick at the thought of it. (I told them - so they could be more careful in future - and they offered me a free meal. Yeah right lol!)

Soft drink, I stopped drinking it when I found out I was pregnant and now it just tastes like poison. I'm no longer a fan of chips (crisps) since pregnancy, I'll eat them if they're there but I won't buy them.
Canned soup, 2 minute noodles, supermarket pasta sauce... Pretty well anything processed has that same "poison" taste. I don't know what it is but I can taste it even if I don't know it's been used (like bottled pasta sauce at a restaurant) so I don't think it's in my head.

McDonalds - I can eat it but I feel unwell for the rest of the day. Other takeaway seems to be ok, although I don't eat it much, I just don't "feel like it".

Since I had my tooth pulled last week chocolate is out, not sure how long that will last, but everytime I feel like eating it my mouth starts to hurt. Lol

Smoked salmon, used to LOVE it but since getting pregnant just the smell, no the THOUGHT of eating it makes me feel sick.

Lamb became the opposite, used to hate it although i would eat it if someone cooked it for me out of politeness, now i actually crave it sometimes. Wonder if it'll last?

I can't eat most cheese these days, Only a certain type. Not sure why.
I can't eat chicken or pork, no matter what or where or who cooked it (even myself) Not sure why with that one either but just too many stories of bad food poisoning.
I can't eat chinese, never been able to..
I can't have even the slightest bit of anything with alcohol in it (even if its a minimal amount) makes me sick. Never used to have a problem, never was a big drinker but after a car accident (even though no alcohol was involved in the incident) I have not been able to touch it. I some how have related it to the anxiety I got afterwards. From that I cant eat cheese burgers from maccas. anything else is fine though
Hot coffee and milo makes me feel really ill, sometimes cold milo does too (unknown reasons). Tea I'm fine with. Can't drink milk often as it too makes me feel ill.
