Please keep DS's friend in your prayers/thoughts

Yesterday DS's friend was inpaled after jumping off a tower at our local beach. He is in a serious condition, I went to see his dad, his son has been taken into surgery for a second time. Please keep him in your prayers.

    Regards,
    Dianne

Oh Dianne, how awful. I don't pray but I will definitely be thinking of him and his family. I hope his injuries are able to heal.

DS wasn't there, he really wants to go and see him but he'll be in intensive care for a while. The boys sister saw it happen and she is just a mess, her and her brother havn't had a good relationship with their mum for many years so maybe it was my motherly instincts taking over, I hugged her and she cried in my arms, I'm sure she's still in shock. DS and his friends have made up a massive card for their mate and I think it helped them debrief too. It's really heartbreaking seeing others in so much pain and there's nothing you can do.

    Regards,
    Dianne

He has been changed from serious to a critical condition, he is so much worse than we originally thought. All this for a silly decision he made. Please make it.
