Sounds like my DS. & we don't dare try to take anything out! There is 6 matchbox cars, a helicopter, several books, 4 drink bottles , 2 teddies & a stuffed camel. Oh and a sleeping 3yo lol! Some nights there's a sleeping Daddy or not sleeping Mummy too but not tonight.

    LOL

    The usual for us is:
    - Two pillows
    - FOUR Miffys (pink Miffy, yellow Miffy, orange Miffy and big pink Miffy)
    - Ferret (yes a ferret stuffed toy)
    - Dorothy (the dino)
    - Pink dolphin
    - Grey dolphin
    - Pink baby, blue baby, other pink baby
    - 2x barbie
    - Large pink plush teddy that protects her little head from smacking the wall

The funniest was one time I put her down, went in to check on her about half an hour later and she was fast asleep with a doll pram on the bed She'd gotten out of bed, got the pram, put it on the bed, got into bed and tucked herself back in, then gone to sleep! Cheeky monkey!

What have you found in your toddlers bed?

Lol DS2 likes to choose a new item to take down each night. Tonight's is the golf club & a book which he then sleeps on. Always in his cot are a huge iggle piggle, 4 small soft toys, a large kangaroo, tweety & my bear from when I was little. If we take any out he'll call us back until they are all where they should be. I don't know how he fits in

The best one for me was checking on DD one night at around that age, only to find the usual collection of stuffed toys and random objects but no DD or doona. She'd gotten uncomfortable sleeping on her pile of treasures so pulled out her flip out couch and curled up on it *underneath* the bed with her favourite pink ted with just her legs sticking out. Strange child....

I must be mean.... I've always told DSD that, no... she can't have every teddy in her bed, lying on her pillow.... she can have one.... yes... one....

most recently it has been.... sorry my dear, you are getting too big to leave your teddys and spare pillow and clothes and skipping rope and numerous other items on the end of the bed.... they need to go away or on the floor.....

yep.... I am again, officially, the evil stepmother....!!

My DD1 sleeps under her bed all the time! It's the cutest thing, not sure it's the best for her back, but she is choosing it so it can't feel too bad.

I have found in seperate occasions one of my shoes and a pair of kitchen tongs... I have no idea how he got them or got them in his cot..

Also he has a ride on plastic Chugginton with a storage space under the seat. occasionally he will open in while playing and pull out something like a watermelon rind or a partially eaten peice of jam on toast! *cue the jumping off the couch saying "yukky nooooooooooooo"

Back in the day DS was the bed stasher. We'd find all sorts of really hard plastic toys from transformers to cars to you name it. I used to say it was like a dragon sleeping on his hoard of gold. I still don't understand how bumblebee is in anyway shape or form comfortable to sleep with. Let alone Thomas and all his friends. These days he hides his washing I his bed so he doesn't have to take it to the laundry. I generally do a search before bed. One day I found all his neatly folded washing under his doona at the end of the bed (that he was supposed to put away). He tried to reason with me saying it stops him from messing up his drawers and his feet don't reach them so it stay neat. Um no. So sad to say. Once a bed hoarder always a bed hoarder

DD on the other hand was a bit of a neat freak. Her place of stashing was her bedside table and there would be a place for everything. And if something she wanted wasn't there it was panic stations and she wouldn't sleep till it was relocated and in its spot.

Although she was a food hoarder... In her mouth. I won't go there though. It's too gross and I'm sure you want to keep your breakfast down
