Yay!! So excited!! We got the plans this morning and have already done the food shop! Came in at around $230 for us because we had to buy a few of the herbs and such so next week shouldn't be as much!! Yay!
Sent from the land of "iSomethings" so forgive me for any spelking misstaks
I'm planning on going to the gym tonight to kick start things. Fitness test tomorrow night when DP is home. Shopping and cooking over the weekend while he is away in Tassie.
So pumped for Monday. And thrilled to bits that the food looks delicious and isn't too different from what we eat now anyway - sans chips.
I have created a little group on Facebook for my friends that are doing it. If anyone is interested in joining us, simply add me as a friend (icon above) and I will add you. We are a lovely, supportive bunch I promise you x
I'm feeling a little overwhelmed by the menu but I have only had a quick look. I don't do much cooking in this house so it's going to be difficult for me as I will need to start cooking again as I doubt I can get DH to cook much of it. Off to print it and break it down.
I rejoined the gym tonight. Very proud, can't wait to get in there and kick butt. I should also probably confess I am sick and have caved to chocolate today. I am craving milk like crazy, I always do when I have a sore throat but trying to hold back.
have changed a few menu suggestions and will be doing measurements and fitness test on sunday morning cause im super busy til then and I need to find somewhere with i know that is 1km
Hi ladies!
It's totally normal to be a bit overwhelmed. It's a BIG thing and there is so much to know and learn.
Just break it down day by day, meal by meal.
Had a HUGE stuff up last night, with chocolate. Ah well, dust myself off. Today is a new day
I've measured out tomorrow's breakfast, made lunch and stuck it in the fridge, got my snacks, and got dinner all portioned and ready to go. If I can keep this organised it'll be easy! DH is really excited to be having different foods, our dinners are usually so boring so he can't wait for this.
How did you guys go with that pop quiz? I've gotta do 30 push ups lol.
YAY, going well so far today but it is only 12.40 . Got up and did some exercise this morning and hoping to walk over and pick up ds1 from daycare this afternoon. Meals going ok and I am pumped. Had a pretty dodgy weekend, but that is it! I am done with the dodgyness. Looking forward to being 10kg's lighter in 12wks time WOO
612cals burnt this morning with a walk while DD was at kinder. I'm still overcoming a hamstring tendon injury so am only able to walk at the moment but all seemed to go well. I've got a strength training session booked for tonight. Hoping to burn 1000 cals today if I can. (NOT something that you have to do... but this is my 3rd round and I'm super keen to kick some butt and push myself further than I have).
I did a spin class at the gym today, and OMG my ass!!! i would have been able to do so much more had the seat hadnt been hurting my bum so much!! though im definitely glad i did it! an hour workout from it!
I can't wait to get my polar watch and know how many calories im burning each day!!
I've done one of Michelle's DVD's for the last 2 mornings. They are killers!
Diet is good so far. Have extra calories as I'm still feeding DS2. Didn't get those yesterday, got to 1296 all up so not to bad. Will be interesting when I weigh in tomorrow to see if I've lost anything in the first few days.
2kg loss for me!!!! wowza! i was NOT expecting that! i've also lost 2cm off my waist since then too! hells YEAH!! i really thought i'd only lose very little or i'd gain because i only exercised monday and had an indulgence dinner on sunday Super happy!!!!!!!
